The blood moon

The knight and the bishop walked out of the sight of the army below them. Eva and the others that desperately wanted to eavesdrop on their discussion bit their tongues in remorse as they knew that chance was gone.

Nonetheless, Eva turned around to her squad and for a brief moment, there was silence between as she stared down at them all. The male vampires in her squad remained unease the entire time because amongst them, they knew what that look she was giving meant.

"She's giving that cap's look again," one of the pawns in her squad thought. The "cap's" look in question was a look every vampire in the army was familiar with at one point or the other. It was a look that denoted power, a look that sent chills down the spines of those that were informed.
