First Night

I slide the curtain to the side as my eyes grew big and wide. "Wow," I whispered to myself, "What a bunk!" I added then I heard someone chuckling from behind me. Turning myself around to look, there was Milo standing right in front of me.

"We're sorry about this," he said with a giggle.

He's so adorable..

"Oh!" I gasped, "Don't worry about it. I can just clean this up and it would be a normal bunk again. And, so that I can go back to sleep."

Milo puts a closed fist over his mouth as I heard him chuckling softly, "Woah there-" I perked a brow at his reaction then crossed my arms over my chest. "Are we having the girl version of Harry here?"

I uncrossed my arms as I laughed at his comment with a shake of my head. Turning myself around, I removed the bags resting over the futon as I started cleaning this unused bunk here inside of the bus which is obviously going to be my bunk.

As soon as I -and Milo, he's insisted to help- finished cleaning "my" bunk, we proceeded to the front lounge and found the rest of the guys on their phones. The usual. I looked up to Milo as he smiles down to me and shrugged. I just let out a soft giggle and sat beside Harry who was so focused on his phone.

"What are you doing, Harry?" I asked him sweetly, crossing my legs as well as my arms over my chest and nudging him as he gently pushed me away.

"Replying to fans, so don't bother me." I pouted at his reply, running a hand through my hair before I rested my head on his shoulder with a sigh. "I'm hungry." I whispered so only Harry can hear.

"Lorien said she's-" I gasped just as Harry started screaming, I immediately covered his mouth with my small hands.

As Harry started to struggle, trying to get my hands off of his mouth, I laughed nervously. "Uh.... nothing! Don't mind him! Harry's just... you know, can be weird and crazy at some times and like, it's so annoying to death.... right?" I let another laugh as this giant beside me throws me a death glare.

Gee, if glares could kill, there is no way that he would spare me. After hearing those from me? I don't think so. But I smiled up to him, I tried giving him an innocent smile and a puppy-like expression, oh I just hope this works on him because it always works on my mother..

As Harry turns the other way, I relieved a sigh. I finally removed my hands from his mouth and sunk into the couch. He pouted, just like what he always does on pictures but cuter, having his arms crossed over his chest. Wow, what a kid— a really cute one.

"Are you mad?"

"No," he replied in short. "You called me annoying and I loved it." I laughed then he glared at me once again, "Wow you're really laughing?"

"No Harry, I'm crying," he rolled his eyes on me.

"Seriously," he sighs. "I'm your twin!"

I giggled, wrapping an arm around his and resting my head on his shoulder. "Yes you are— my most handsome twin."

He smirks, "Now we're talking, I'm going to get you some food," he winks down at me as he gets himself up from the couch and left. I started to laugh louder as I watch Harry leave but I stopped just as I felt someone's arm brushed against mine. I looked up to see the person.

Oh look! It was Tybalt.

"Oh... hey," I smiled at him. To my surprise, he gave me his warmest smile. I always knew that he's totally handsome- I mean, he's snatched half of the hearts of the fandom! But right now, as he was giving me that smile, I thought- that probably was the most beautiful smile I have ever seen—that even my heart, that was not snatched by him, has skipped a beat.

"Hey Lorien," he returns his stare down to his phone. "How are you feeling?"

"A bit... nervous, I think?" My hands are settled down to my lap as my eyes were fixed down to the floor.

"Nervous?" Tybalt repeated and I nodded, "Why would you feel nervous?"

"I don't know, honestly," I chuckled. "Maybe it's that I am in a bus with Zenith or- should I say, I am inside of the tour bus of Zenith." I murmured, playing with the tip of my fingers as I heard the brunette laughing softly beside me.

Why do their laughter sound so lovely?

"Silly," Tybalt playfully smacks me on the head as I rubbed it with my hand with a smile on my face. "You should not feel that way," he added as I bite my lip, keeping my head as low as possible. Why do I suddenly feel nervous around him? Is it because, this time, there isn't any wall between the two of us? Did I successfully break it down? Or was it him that has broke down all of my walls?

Tybalt shoved his phone into his back pocket as he stands up from the couch. "So, wanna grab some coffee for breakfast?"

My eyes sparkled as I clapped my hands with a smile, "Like you have to ask Ellis!" I exclaimed.

"Sweet," He smiles back to me as he was looking into my eyes. For some reason, I was glued to where I was standing. Were his eyes always that beautiful?

Tybalt has always been cold towards me. He has his doors closed and doesn't really open up to me even if I try to- even if I knock a million of times, he just wouldn't open a door for me. It has always been that way, that I had forgotten how beautiful he was- as beautiful as his brothers- until today. For the first time in forever, Tybalt Ellis has looked right into my eyes.

The bus had stopped as the boys all hopped out of the bus, running to their -also mine- favorite cafe. This is for sure, going to be my favourite thing about joining on to their tour, free coffee wheee!!! And while I was walking my way to the entrance of Kofibucks, Milo picked up his pace with me then put his hands into his back pocket.

"So.... are you happy?" He asked, I looked up to him.

"Happy?" Milo nods his head as he kept it low, I smiled. I'm happy to know that he thinks about my feelings, that is just so sweet.

"Yo-you know.. about-about this..."

I pulled my head upwards as I smile, looking up at the bright blue sky then closing my eyes as the sunlight started to hit them. "Of course I am! I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for you, Milo. So, thank you for asking me to come with you."

I heard him sighed. He scratched the back of his neck then whispered, "I didn't do much actually..."

I grinned. "Hm, you're right about that. You didn't put much effort into it, you could have asked me in a different way. Like for example, bringing me out on a date or-"

"Date?"

"Yes! Like, having some delicious lunch and then watching a movie...-"

My eyes widened, turning my head to the blonde walking beside me. "What?"

Milo grins, looking to the other way as he started to smile with his teeth.

"He-hey! It-it was not like that! You're wro-wrong!" I exclaimed, totally red to the ears.

"Or am I?" He smirked.

"You've got it all wrong! I-I wasn't-.. it was nothing like that! You've got the wrong i-idea!"

"Date, you say?"

"N-no!" I felt even hotter, I literally started fanning myself. "I told you! You're getting the wrong idea! I wasn't thinking of something like that!"

"Oh Lorien... you're cute.." he pinched my nose and I swatted his hands away, Milo giggles and then he sighed. "Cuter than any dog in this world," he smiles down to me.

"What?! Come here you!"

Whew, that was really close! I better be more extra careful this time.. I should start thinking twice before opening my mouth. Or else, I might really say those three words by accident and I don't want that to happen. Milo surely doesn't like me in that sense.. there is just no way.. right?

***

Now, we were all back in the tour bus. Everyone is back on their phones while I just had my head rested on Harry's shoulder as I was humming a song as quiet as possible.as I finished my drink, we were all caught in shock when Milo walks into the front lounge with a guitar on his hand. He takes the limited space of the couch, which was just beside me, and started strumming his guitar.

"Let's play a game," he suggested. "-Where the loser will have to sing at least one song," he finished before putting the pick in between his teeth. Ooh, how hot. Wait what?

All groaned then leaned back to their seats, well except me, of course. I won't disagree with this ball of sunshine, literally- his hair shines just as bright as the sun. It is more shiny than my hair.

"That's so boring!" Harry exclaimed.

"No it's not!" I answered as I removed my head from his shoulder. "I really think it's fun. What is this game called?" I turned to Milo.

"Oh really? Then why don't you give us a show, huh? Sing," Harry smirks at me.

"What?" I backed myself away from the dark haired boy, my arms up in the air as I look at the six good-looking guys surrounding me. "You can't be serious..."

Harry shrugs, "Everyone wants to hear you sing.."

"N-no... I-I cannot sing... I do not sing."

"That, I don't believe in!" Milo yells. "Come on! Just one song!" He added as the blonde haired man in front of me has started strumming his guitar and waiting for me to sing a song. I looked up to him just when he stopped, "Come on!"

I sighed as my back hunched and squeezed my eyes shut. Okay, might as well give them a show.

"Okay then," Milo and the rest smiled. I looked at the guy with the guitar, "'Wanted'," I told him as I cleared my throat nervously.

Milo bites his lip, "Copy that!"

I cleared my throat as he started to play the instrument, as Milo looks at me, I take it as my cue to start singing.

I had my eyes closed as I was singing. I'm so nervous.

My eyes stayed closed. I don't want to open them and just see these guys giving me digusted stares, it had been a long time since the last time I let somebody hear me sing, so I don't really know how my singing voice sounds right now.

Slowly, I opened up my eyes as they meet with Milo's oceanic blue ones.

We stayed like that as I sing.

He never turned the other way and I couldn't seem to break the contact. As my heart started beating faster, Milo and I remained looking into each other's eyes. As if they were having their own little universe -able to understand one another, able to read the other's thoughts- which obviously him and I do not know anything about.

Until Harry has let out a loud groan.

"And you're telling us you can't sing?" I heard him say, only then I realized that I was staring at Milo for too long. My face flushed a deep a shade of red as I put it down, my hair covering my face. I mentally slapped myself.

What was I thinking back there? I have to snap out of it! Get yourself together, Daniel!

"I-I really can't," I mumbled but loud enough for them to hear.

"Oh my God," I turned my head to the oldest, whom I was having a solid eye contact with just a second ago, "You just lied to us!" He exclaimed.

"You can sing!" He blurted, pointing a finger to me and I slapped it away with a light chuckle— just to get out of this weird atmosphere. "You-you have a very beautiful voice! You know what, you should sing more often."

As expected, he was not affected by it.

"Oh shush, Milo." I smirked.

Damn. Why is my chest tightening?

"I-I'm not joking! I'm being serious!"

"Stop, Milo." I glared.

He bites up his upper lip and then hugged his beloved guitar as I roll my eyes, standing up from the couch and walking away. I made my way to the back lounge then sunk into the soft cushioned seat, slapping my face with my two hands as I sighed.

What was I really thinking? What was I upset about? What was I so mad about? Why do I feel so disappointed? Why do I feel.... hurt?

I felt someone sitting beside me but I didn't care. But then the person nudged me, so I looked up.

"Hi," he chuckles.

My hands run through my hair. "Oh hey, Tybalt," I smiled and then he sat beside me with his legs crossed.

At times like this, my phone can save me. So I pulled it out from my back pocket and unlocked it to check my social accounts, I also replied to my mom's message. Then I went back to Titter as the newest post from the band's account was on top of my timeline. I released yet another sigh, leaning back on the couch. I still can't believe that I am going on a tour with Zenith, that I am inside of this bus with Zenith. Becoming their friend and just as close to them as I already am has never crossed my mind, let alone going on a tour with them. Because as we all know... that is way too impossible, waaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy too imspossible.

Until Tybalt has snapped me out of my own thoughts.

"You have a very beautiful singing voice," I turned my head to look at him. He still has his eyes down to his phone as I watch his fingers run up and down on the screen. "Jokes aside. No lies."

I let out a quiet laugh, looking down to my lap as my lips had drawn a big smile across my face. "Th-thank you... and you too."

I heard him giggle. "Thanks back," I laughed.

"Milo was right about what he said back there," he blurted.

"What?"

Tybalt turns to look at me. "About you- singing."

"Eh?" Was all I had to say.

"You really should sing more often. Who knows, you could even make the person you like, like you back with your singing."

What?

What is he saying...? Does he know..?

My lips formed a thin line as I stood up from the couch making Tybalt turn his head upwards to look at me. Before this gets even more awkward I say, "I-I-I need to get something from my bunk, I'll be right back."

"Okay," he said in short and I rushed to my bunk.

As soon as I climbed in, I laid on my back on this soft futon and released a heavy sigh. Then I squeezed my eyes shut to calm myself down... I need to.

***

"Lorien?" I heard a soft voice calling my name from the other side of this cloth hanging on my bunk- and had woken me up from my nap. "Are you still asleep?" My eyes opened immediately as I recognized that it was Milo.

I sat up, forgetting that I'm not at my house as my head meets up with the bunk right above mine. I grunted, rubbing my forehead. "No! No, I'm not!" I answered Milo and opened this curtain-like cloth of my bunk.

"I'm sorry for waking you up," he mumbles.

"No no, don't worry about it!" I exclaimed, slipping out of my bunk and smiling up to him. "I should be the one apologizing! I'm sorry I slept," I chuckled.

"No, it's all right," he smiles. "It's just that, it's almost dinner time so I just want to know if you like anything so I can like... buy it for you," he whispers the last part but clear enough, scratching the back of his neck with a shy smile.

"Oh I-I see.." I looked at him, seeing how shy he is... makes me even more shy. "Th-then.. why don't we buy dinner together instead? How-how does that sound?" Milo was frozen, slowly bringing his head up as his lips curved up to form a bright smile.

"Sounds good." I smiled as we went to the front lounge just to see Harry and the others all sat on the couch.

"Um.. Milo and I are going to buy some dinner. Do you guys want to come along?" I happily asked them as Rin held his hand out and shook his head as a respond.

"We ate already," Romeo added.

"Eh?!" Harry shouts. "You guys! Without me?!"

Milo and I laughed along with the others.

Harry looks back to his brother and me, "I'm going with you!"

"Great, then shall we get going?" I asked as Rin grabbed Harry by the collar of his shirt, pulling him back down to stay seated. Then Rin leaned forward to Harry's ear as this twin of mine whispers, "Oh okay, I see!"

That.... is weird.

"Uh... actually, I don't want to go out of the bus so could you two like.. buy my dinner for me? Please?" He pouts.

"Jesus," I groaned. "Fine."

Milo giggles as I trotted out of the bus, having the blonde behind me. I walked to this fast food chain just where the bus was parked. As the chain on the door jingles when I opened it, the cold air hits my skin. I begin to rub my arms. Boy, did it feel really cold considering that I was only wearing a shirt. We made it inside and Milo immediately sprinted into the line, he's insisted that he will order while I wait for him from the side.

"Hey, what do you want?" He mumbled but loud enough for me to hear.

"Huh?" I asked him with eyes wide opened, "Oh uh.. anything. Anything will do."

"You'll be having the same as mine then," he smiled at me and then turned to the lady in the counter.

As Milo finished, we headed right back to the bus. I kept on rubbing my arms once we get outside of the fast food, gee, do their customers like it really cold? My arm hairs are standing up and Milo must have noticed it because he stopped from walking.

"Are you feeling cold?"

"Well, yeah. A bit." I admitted, why bother lying? I just want to get back inside of my bunk and cover myself up with my blanket. But to my surprise, Milo had removed his jacket as I felt it hugging me. I gasped, "Milo, no. This is yours, you should be the one weari-"

"No, wear it. You obviously need it more than I do." He cuts me off, shoving one hand into his pocket then continued walking towards the bus. I just smiled as I tried my best to keep pace with him as we reached the tour bus.

As we get to the front lounge, we were both surprise that Harry and the others were not where we left them. What the hell..? They couldn't be sleeping by now, right? Then Milo shakes his head and placed our food on the table and started eating. What are those guys up to? Milo and I have bought too many food, we can't eat all of this!

But as I watch Milo eating, my stomach started to grumble. I licked my lips as blondie over here laughed.

I blushed. "I-I'll go get some water," I headed to the kitchen to get two bottles of water from the fridge when Tybalt suddenly blocked my way. I nearly fell down the floor and bump my head for the second time today.

"Oh my God! You almost gave me a heart attack, Tybalt!" I shouted with a hand on my chest as I hold on to the sink to keep myself on my feet.

Tybalt was looking deep into my eyes- and it's like his hazel brown ones are telling me something really important. He's staring deep into my soul.

"I don't want you to like Milo."

Eh?

"I don't want you to get hurt."

"What.."

"He doesn't feel the same way towards you, Lorien."

What is he talking about?

"I don't want you to like him."

"What are you-"

"Just say you'll never like him." He glared.

"O-okay, I will—" I placed one hand on my back as I crossed my fingers, "—never... like Connor." I mumbled, as Tybalt's face softened. Then he took step backwards and left me here in front of the fridge in the kitchen.

What are his eyes trying to tell me?
