Chapter 2: The parting...

Within moths, Miranda and Kendall's friendship had simply blossomed over time and (within that time) both the girls had also grown quite attached to one of their common friends, Samarah.

Everybody at school disliked Samarah but were also jealous of her and some even sucked up to her at every chance they got only to reveal their true thoughts about her behind her back. After all being a teenage popstar and icon came at a cost and Samarah knew it now.

However, to Samarah, Kendall and Miranda seemed different. They openly showed their fondness for her and even criticized those aspects of her which seemed wrong to them but never behind her back.

It became quite evident to Samarah that both girls liked Samarah for being Samarah and not a public icon. She finally found solace after having met real friends like them.

But all three girls had a gnawing ache buried deep inside their hearts as they knew they might not get enough time with each other because they might not get into the same college.

Little did they know that fate had everything except for detachment ( from each other) in store for them.
