With everything John and Amanda explained, all we had against the Gbesinros was just a circumstantial evidence.

Mrs Grace had refused to testify in court. Even with the recording, it would not be admissible because it was gotten illegally.

That morning, we were expecting Peterson. Amanda eventually invited him herself. John was present too.

Grandmother apologized to me. She explained that she did what was best for me. I agree, she did the right thing. Being on bad terms with my parents was better than with my sister.

Amanda and I agreed not to tell our parents yet. If they knew that their daughters were investigating together, they would be really disappointed, mom especially.

So, we planned to stay in grandmother's house a little longer. Amanda made up an excuse in order to put our parents at ease.

"Have you called to remind him?", I asked Amanda.

"There's no need to do that. He's going to come", she said.
