Chapter 6 - Rich heiress!

Kevin saved me from that guy, he was the most important guest of tonight, but still, Kevin stood up for me!

The moment he saved me, I realized one thing, He is not that bad!

The guest was angry and further threatened Kevin to destroy him, and his company for good. Having said that he left in anger!

Later at night, when I was sitting in my room, I heard a knock on my door, I knew it was Kevin, so I covered my face again with that handkerchief, and opened the door!

Judging from the look on his face, he seemed concerned about me.

"Are you alright?" This time his tone was different, it was soft, and the arrogance was far gone. I could sense the guilt coming from him, he apologized right away for his guest's behavior, and now he wasn't going to fire me as he was feeling guilty and ashamed!

Seeing this side of him made my heart melt for a second. I started thinking about the scenario again when he came to my rescue, as I was lost in my thoughts, he suddenly woke me up from my dream, but the concern from earlier disappeared!

His eyes were again angry, and for some reason, they were fixed on my clothes!

That's when I realized,

I was wearing his clothes, and judging by his face, he must have noticed the clothes now!

"How dare you!" His angel side flipped in a second to his devil side making me run into the whole house, scared for my life, and he was running behind me as if we were two kids running, and fighting for clothes!

Running, running, and running, I hid behind a pillar in the living room whereas he was standing in the middle beside the sofa searching for me. I never thought he would be this furious for a piece of cloth!

"Why are you wearing my clothes, come here!" He was frustrated, and I started praying to god. Behind from pillar, I said with softness in my voice " I have worn better than this, don't make a fuss about it!"

Suddenly I couldn't see him anymore besides the sofa, so I tried to peek through the pillar to confirm if he was gone!

Since he wasn't there anymore, I felt relieved and whispered slowly to myself "he is gone!" but strangely I heard another whispered in my ear

"ahh! He is gone!"

I was caught, the devil was standing behind me, but I didn't dare to turn my face, he asked for his clothes back without touching me or anything,

simply just showing his anger!

I refused as I didn't have any clothes with me, but we both were stubborn because he wasn't ready to let me go either!

so to stop this drama between us, I proposed to him a deal. If he gives me money for shopping, I'll give him his clothes back!

"I'm not giving you money for shopping !!" I wasn't listening to him as I was only hoping to have new sets of clothes, so I did emotional blackmail.

"Consider this as a payback for your guest's behavior!" This sentence was enough to make him speechless.

The next day after Kevin left for his work, I went to the shopping mall, it's been so long since I have worn something designer, so I tried most of the dresses in that mall, still, I was confused about what to buy!

To avoid any regret later, I brought all the designer clothes under Kevin's name.

My shopping was done, and I headed to the billing counter, the total bill was exceeding the money that Kevin gave me.

It made me frustrated, but luckily Kevin left me his number, so I told the receptionist to call him and ask for the rest of the money!

As she called him, they were discussing something which was out of the reach of my hearing capability, but after a long talk, he sent her the rest of the money!

It was almost evening, when I came back home, I was so tired that I fell asleep on the living room sofa!

I closed my eyes for deep sleep, but suddenly felt a gaze on my face, so I slightly opened one eye and saw Kevin standing in front of me, staring at my face!

He finally saw my face, and that made me woke up in fear.

Surprisingly he wasn't saying anything about my face, which made me curious!

That's when I suddenly realized, the lights were off!

Thankfully I was saved again. It was a surprise that Kevin didn't turn on the lights maybe because he was respecting my privacy!

As I was staring at him, he suddenly said with a mysterious tone,

"Your actions don't speak of a maid!" I wondered why did he say that?

And that's when he informed me about my branded shopping I did today where I spent his money like some rich heiress!

He seemed suspicious of me, so I had to distract his mind from this topic, and to do that, I did something unexpected and shocking!

In the blink of his eye,

I slightly touched his lips with mine, enough to just get off his mind from the current topic. I wasn't able to see his face in the dark, but as he was frozen there I got the idea that maybe this kiss worked!

But at the same time, I have to be ready for the further consequences.
