Prologue
There he is, laying on the hospital bed after being assaulted by his haters. Hyun didn’t expect this. How did he get into this mess and get involved in bad rumors? They said he 'rap*d’ a girl. People believe the news and everyone turns their back on him.

His best friend.
Baek Hyun stayed with him at the hospital everyday even though his reputation is slowly going down. Hyun was glad to have someone supporting his back.
But…
When they both fell asleep, someone sneaked inside the room. Hyun regretted sleeping that night. His best friend was drugged and he was killed in his sleep.
He was full of regrets for not telling his best friend how much he owes him for his kindness. And he regrets leaving him in this cruel world.
Thought that it was the end, but then, he opened his eyes to a beautiful woman, kissing his forehead. He was shocked to death. Before he could prevent himself from getting into another scandal, he realised that he feels…
Small.
He looked to the side and saw the nurse smiling at him. He decided to connect the dot and understand his situation. He’s alive. As another human being.
Well, he wasn’t small like a baby but more like a child.
He looks at the woman next to the nurse and she looks back at him lovingly.
'This young woman is my mom I suppose.' She talks with the nurse and when they’re left alone, she focuses back on Hyun.
“Hi Jaehyun. Do you remember what happened?”
“…What?”
The woman sweatdropped. Hyun then realised that is his new name. He then coughs and scratches his head.
“I don’t…remember anything.”
“Oh no. I need to check with the doctor! Wait here, honey.”
Hyun watches as his mother runs out from his room. He looks at his hand and pinch his cheeks. He is making sure this is real and he still can’t believe he’s dead.
“You’re alive kid.”
Hyun looked to the side and saw a cat. It transforms into a guy and Hyun just blink before slapping him. The system was pretty offended but based on what he knew about Hyun, he wasn’t surprised.
Hyun is stupid.
“Who-“
“I am one of the almighty systems. There’s thousands of us and I choose to help you and reincarnate you in this world.”
“Why?”
“Just…out of pity. Now give me a name.”
“…
Can you just use my old name?”
“Sure. I am Hyun now.”
They just stare at each other before Hyun suddenly vanishes after the woman enters the room with a doctor. Hyun, or should we call Jaehyun, just let the doctor check on him.
“He seems fine but I don’t think the child is lying…he might have amnesia. I will have to check again.”
“Please doctor…save my child.”
“May I test him for a little?”
The woman nods and the doctor smiles at Jaehyun. He can’t help but feel strange at how kind the smile is. Well, he wasn’t treated well in his last life so…
“What is 3+4?”
“7.”
Well that was fast. For a child who just learned how to count, of course. His mother nervously talked with the doctor because she hadn't sent her child to preschool yet.
When they’re left alone again, the mother caresses her child. She didn’t know how her child got injured outside of her house and lost his memories but she promised herself she would take better care of him from now on.
“Jaehyun-sshi. Mom is really sorry for leaving you alone all this time. Mom thought that it would be dangerous for you to come with me to work.”
“It’s fine…Mom, just go to work. I will be fine alone at home.”
“But, you might get hurt-“
“I will stay inside. Promise.”
The woman was a little shocked when his son was giving her a smile. After the child grew up, this was the first time he gave her a genuine smile.
“Alright.”
