Curry

'as everyone already know food is important for us and it's already developed a lot at our timeline and here I thought that's it's will be the same for this time...but NO ONE EVER TELL ME THATS FOOD AT THIS TIME DIDN'T EVEN DEVELOPED THAT MUCH AND THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE CURRYYYY AHHHHHH' as Hou Wei said that's he can't help but be depressed because curry is his favourite food and he always looking forward to eat everyday just because of curry and now he cannot eat it anymore make him feel more depressed

"...no curry...curry didn't exist...is the world ending..." as he repeated that's word countless time an idea suddenly came to his mind and he thought that's he definitely can do this since he always help his mom at the kitchen with cooking "OH YEAHH,why I never thought about it...I can just make some since this is the time where herb already popular they should have some spice that's are use to make curry...I'm a genius" as he said that's he immediately went to the kitchen

"ITS HEREEEE, finally I can make some curry" as he hold a chili and herb he shed a tear full with joy and now he's preparing to make some curry. He also prepare some other things as a base for his curry and today we will see it-

"welcome to chef Hou Wei cooking show today we will make everyone favourite food aaaaaa Curry that's right todaywe will make a curry...if your wondering why...i don't know who to blame that's curry are still not develop at this time... anyway the first thing we should do is preparing some ingredients and the list of ingredients is already prepared so you just sit tight and prepare your tea while we're cooking"

or's Tip: This curry recipe is based on a basic North Indian recipe. If you're looking for other authentic curries, look up korma, chicken jalfrezi, vindaloo or other Indian main dishes.

Ingredients

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

1/2-1 lbs meat, cut into bite-sized pieces (can use beef, pork, chicken, lamb or goat)

1 yellow onion, diced

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons grated ginger root

1/2 to 2 tablespoons of garam masala, curry powder or a combo of both

2 cups broth (can use vegetable or chicken)

2 medium tomatoes, chopped, or 1 (15.5 ounces) can of diced tomatoes

1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, coconut milk or full-fat Greek yogurt

"since our ingredients are done now we will proceed with the first step for this curry. The first thing we should do is brown the meat.

Searing the meat is a great way to build layers of flavor into your curry, but you'll need to add it in batches to get a hard sear and prevent steaming. Heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat in a large skillet. Add the meat in batches, browning it on all sides, about 5 minutes. It doesn't need to be cooked through—there will be plenty of time for that later! Then, remove it to a plate and set it aside while you brown the rest of the meat"

"and now that's is done we shall proceed with the second step and that's to sweet the onion.

Once the meat is finished browning, add the diced onion to the skillet and cook over medium-high heat until it has softened and starts to caramelize on the edges, about 5 minutes. There should be plenty of oil left in the pan, but you can add an extra glug of oil if you need"

"to the third step we goes..."I seriously don't know this will take this long :/ anyway back to the story "the third step if we follow this guide uhh it's should be....bloom the spice?"I don't even know what that's means but let's just proceed "Now the fun begins: add the garlic, ginger and spices. Blooming the spices is a crucial step to creating a successful curry, as it releases essential flavor compounds. You only need about 30 seconds here; you don't want the garlic to brown and become bitter. You know it's done when the aroma in the room becomes completely intoxicating!"

"and now we're going for the fourth step which is the second of the last step and it's was to simmer the curry" as he hold the book and proceed with the cooking without knowing what's happening outside and just do whatever he wants "hmm this book say that's Add the broth and tomatoes. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let the flavors meld for about 5 minutes. If you're using meat, add the browned meat back to the simmering sauce and turn the heat down to low. Cover the skillet and cook for 5 to 10 minutes, until the meat is cooked through and tender.

Remove the curry from the heat and whisk in 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream, coconut milk or full-fat Greek yogurt to create an extra rich dish....that's long anyway we're going to my favourite part of this book"

"the last step of this book was ENJOYYYY!!yes you hear it's right the last step was to enjoy the food and I'm happy to do so" he can't help but smile brightly because it's been a long time since he want to eat one "hmm this book also say thats Once the curry is thick and saucy, it's time to dig in! Serve the sauce over rice. Top with chopped fresh cilantro to balance the flavors."

Editor's Tip: If your curry tastes flat, add a touch of salt or whisk in an acidic ingredient like vinegar or lemon juice.

"welp that's all for our cooking show I will see you next time in the same day but not at the same time it's chef Hou Wei see you soon." as his imagination run wild he couldn't help but prepare to eat and after he taste it's he can't help but cry in tear of joy "THIS IS IT , ITS THE REAL TASTE OF CURRY...I finally get to eat... speaking about curry...I wonder how is mom right now" as he said that's he look at the starry sky and pray that his mom will be healthy and live a good life.
