Cora arrived at the cabin, her blood pooling in the bed of the truck. She watched as William walked out of the truck, grabbing her foot and dragging her out of the truck, hoisting her on his shoulder. He brought her inside and ripped her shirt open, revealing the hole in her chest. They recut her stitches and pulled her rib cage out, looking at her heart. Zax shook his head and looked at William.

"Her heart is mush," Zax said, pulling out the remains of her heart.

"Is the HOD still intact?" William asked. Zax pulled it out of her heart, looking at the chip.

"Yep, it's still intact," He said. William nodded and looked at the OBD, which was cracked.

"Fuck, it's busted," He said, pulling it out of the remains of her heart. He then went to a drawer and pulled out another OBD and then went to the fridge, pulling out a giant heart, about the size of two fists. Zax looked at him like he's crazy.

"What the hell are you doing?" He asked when William shushed him, setting the heart in the hole. It wouldn't fit, so he grabbed the sides of her chest and pulled, bones snapping as the heart slid into place and he put the OBD on the front of the heart. He then pulled out the cooler and opened it, pulling out two lungs with a windpipe. He cut the windpipe open and pulled out a black wire with three computer chips on the end.

"Here it is, Zax. The RBM," He said, handing it to Zax as he pulled out her lungs, cutting the windpipe open. He then set the device in it and sowed it shut, setting them back in her. Then, Zax sowed her chest shut as William grabbed bandages and a t-shirt, handing it to Liam. He looked at the shirt and then at William, frowning.

"Girls do it better in New York?" He read, tossing it to him, who just shrugged.

"It's the only girl shirt I could find," He said, tossing it back to Liam. He sighed and looked at her.

"Sorry Cora," He said and bandaged the hole in her chest, putting the shirt on her. Then, he grabbed the car battery and shocked her in the chest. She sat up and gasped for air, looking at Zax, who smiled.

"Welcome back, Cora," He said, setting the car battery down. She rubbed her eyes and stood up off the table, walking over to the fridge. She opened it and grabbed a beer, ignoring the organ coolers inside of the fridge, and took a deep swig until the can was empty. She threw the can on the ground and looked at them, who frowned at her.

"What?" She asked.

"That was my beer," Zax muttered as William shook his head.

"Cora, you are probably going to regret shooting Marcus," He said, throwing water on the table, cleaning the blood off. She shrugged and went into the fridge, pulling out another beer. She leaned on the fridge and opened it, taking another swig.

"I don't give a flying fuck. If only I aimed higher," She said, taking another swig when William took the beer away from her, dumping it on the floor.

"Hey, you don't realize how strong he is. Just because he has telepathy doesn't mean that's all he got. If you didn't notice, he grew stronger, smarter, and meaner," He explained. She rolled her eyes and pushed past him, walking over to the cabinet, where a UMP 45 was leaning. He cut her off and looked at her.

"Did you notice that with a wave of a hand, he can bring the dead back to life? He has control of the rats. He has a fucking implant that can rejuvinate dead tissue and can make the normal rats look like fucking child's play!" He yelled.

"So?! I can just go and kill him, easy as that. I can't die anyways," She said.

"And what if I can't get your body? You'll be either incinerated, brought back as a rat, or just turned into a fucking super soldier with no memory of what the fuck ever happened to you!" He yelled, pissed. She went to step past him again, but he cut her off.

"Get out of my way," She said.

"No," He replied. They stared at each other for a long time, a line of tension between them when a beep came from Zax, who was over at an old computer.

"I found an odd signal over at a concert hall, near Central Park," He said. William looked at her, than at Liam as he walked over to him, looking at the screen.

"What signal?" He asked and Zax nodded at the computer.

"This," He said and hit enter.

"This is Axel, New York's famous DJ and I'm hosting a party! Anyone's invited! All you have to do, is pay the toll! Two cartons of cigarettes and an eight pack of beer to enter! Hurry, this deal won't last!" He said with a maniacal laugh. They both turned to her, as she shrugged.

"What? How is he still alive?" She asked.

"Axel is kind of a big issue right now. We can't intercept transmissions with his fucking music running. God, who listens to dubstep anymore?!" Zax yelled, smashing the computer. William sighed and grabbed the UMP, screwing on a silencer. He walked out to the truck, throwing it onto the passenger seat. He then looked at her and sighed.

"Can you drive?" He asked. She shook her head no and he shook his head, disappointed.

"No, why?" She asked, confused. He sighed through his nose and handed her keys, placing them in her hand.

"Don't scratch my truck," He said.
