Mission 10- The Kingdom Falls

I shoved his face into the ground and laughed. Suddenly his skin hardened and became silver. He'd used the Titanium aspect of his power on me! I got up and I punched him in the nose. It was rock solid, I shook my hand. "God dammit"! He punched me right in the face and my nose started bleeding. "Agh"! I fell back, holding my nose. "Sh!t"! I tried kicking him in the arm. I'm the fastest chemical out there. Some might even argue that I'm the fastest person in the world. Before I touched the ground and kicked him another three times. None of it affected him.

It had honestly hurt me instead. He got down and kicked my ankle, making me fall. Before I could get up he punched me in the stomach. I coughed up blood and grabbed my stomach. "Do you know how horribly you hurt me"? "I'm sorry"! "Sorry isn't good enough", he said, punching me again. I had to do something. I had to win and get what I needed to kill Mercury. I punched him in the face as hard as I could, breaking my own hand. The titanium over him cracked a bit. I realized all it was was a shell of his true self.

Titanium is resistant to rusting. But this isn't true Titanium. With large amounts of chemicals, it could corrode very quickly. I started to let Chlorine out of my body. It made me dizzy but I had to get it done. His Titanium started to rust and fall apart. "What's happening"! "You're rusting dumb ass", Freyaj shouted. He looked down and watched himself fall apart. All of the Titanium was gone. As soon as he looked up I punched him in the face with all my strength. He was knocked out. As I limped over to everyone else I smiled. "I guess it's safe to say I won"? Freyaj laughed before slapping my back. I fell to my knees. We both laughed, "Let's get going".

We went back to Muhammad's place and stayed there. "This Kingdom can't survive without a queen", Clover said. "They'll fall apart within days". The next day Muhammad woke up and gave us the destruction to Mercury. "I apologize for the way I acted. I know you didn't want to be with me. It's just... it really hurts you know", he said, holding back tears. I gave him a hug. "I'm sorry Muhammad. Who knows, maybe you'll meet someone new and better than me someday". We left and went back to Chicago. When we got back to school we told them we were on a family trip. I found Marla and decided to talk to her. "Hey, sorry for canceling, something came up. Can you meet me in the parking lot after school"?

"Sure", she said, walking away. Something felt cold about her. It gave me chills, like she knew what I was planning. When we got to the parking lot she was standing there alone. "Are these your friends"? "They're my partners, and you've made some bad choices". "I have no clue what you're talking about". "Don't play dumb, you know what I mean". She looked me in the eyes. Hers were glowing silver. Mine started to glow white. "I'm not going down without a fight", she said, putting her guard up. Three other people came out of her car. They all started to fight my backup. "Just give up sweets, how about you join our corp"? "Never, I might be a killer, but i'm not traitor".

I punched her in the nose. She grabbed it and it started to bleed. "I like the way you think". She grit her teeth and kicked me in the stomach. She didn't have super strength so it didn't hurt too bad. I was going to shoot her with bullets made out of her destruction serum. But one second I looked at her and the next she was gone. I turned around and she punched me in the eye. I pulled the trigger twice. I let my eye go to try and see her better. I turned back around and she grabbed my throat. She started releasing Mercury from her body. My muscles got weak and a rash formed around my neck. Just then Clover hit her in the back with a crowbar.

She fell to the ground and I aimed the gun at her head. "Bye bye". I pulled the trigger. I turned around to see all of her henchmen dead. "Thanks", I wheezed. "No problem". Freyaj and Wanda went to the hotel and Clover and I went out to get food. While in the parking lot I decided to talk with him. "Hey Clover I-". He kissed me. It was out of nowhere, but he kissed me. "Sorry", he said, shocked. "Don't be. But aren't you dating Wanda"? "What-no". "But she told me you guys were dating". "Wanda's just my overly touchy partner, I've liked you since we met, you were just a scared little girl and I was helping my father experiment on you".

"So... you like me too"? "Of course I do", he said, smiling. I smiled, "Good. But now I've got a problem with Wanda".
