I used to live with my mom,dad and my big brother (older brother). our house was situated near a deep forest. On the other side of our house was the town where my school was situated. Also, my dad was a police officer there.
I had friends Jackson,Jennifer,Lyman and Lucy.
we all used to go to the same school and come back together. At night after having dinner, I asked my big brother Jason "big bro, let's go for a walk in the woods." He nodded and replied "alright, we will go but only in the outskirt of the forest". I who was excited immediately agreed. when I and Jason were about leave the house, mom called out my big brother's name as she came out of the kitchen and said "Jason!Jason! where are you going with your little brother!?" Jason replied as mom came near the door "Jonathan wanted to go for a walk in the outskirt of the forest, so I was taking him with me for a stroll." My mom thought for a min, then nodded with a sigh. Before she left for the kitchen, mom said to both of us and one of her line sounded like a warning "come back before 11 both of you and yeah, don't wander off deep into the woods or you two will never return back alive." I was little confused when my mom said this statement "don't wander off deep into the woods or you will never back alive."
When I and my big brother were strolling in the outskirt if the woods, I decided to ask him the reason. after a while, I asked him "big bro, why mom told us not to go deep in the wood and what she meant by 'never returning alive?" Jason looked at me with a surprise as I have ask something which I shouldn't have asked. He hesitated first and thought for a min.
Then he replied to me with a surprise look still on his face "I.....don't know much, but aaaa.....I do can tell you that in the middle of this woods is an abandoned cottage which is rumored to be haunted by the lumberjack and his family who used to live there. now why it is haunted, who actually used to live there, the reason... I don't know."
I know that Jason knows everything but I decided to pretend that I am satisfied with the answer which in reality, I was not. When we got home and went to our bedrooms to sleep, I was still unsatisfied with Jason's answer. Many questions were rising in my mind which made me restless that night. I need the answers to my question, the real reason and the story and it's truth behind the mystery of the abandoned cottage.
But who will be one that will put an end to my rising questions? where I will find him/her?
I must find it out as soon as possible.
