Mariah thought about her new servant girl, Harriet. She had been a loyal servant to her, but Mariah treated her badly. She also hadn't paid Harriet her wages in months because of the losses she had in her business, but the young girl was so loyal and happy to work for her despite her devious attitude. When they arrived home to their mansion, Mariah was shocked beyond words. She knew Caitlin had married a very wealthy young man, but the gigantic mansion she had seen was far bigger than what she had expected. It looked like a modern palace. It was the most beautiful and magnificent house she had ever seen. The gate, the garden, the exotic trees and flowers, the pools, the furniture, the interior, everything was so fabulous and looked lavish.
