Chapter Fifty six

Celina returned from the grocery store late. She hated going out at night but it was urgent. Her period had begun quite earlier than she expected and she had run out of sanitary pads and rushed to get some in a nearby store.

The road was dark and lonely. She had only seen two people pass through that road and hadn't seen anyone else. She hastened her steps, clutching her groceries. The night was cold and all she could think of was getting a hot shower and eating something hot and delicious.

While she walked quietly, she heard a car coming from a distance. She ignored it and thought it was just a usual car returning home, but then the car's light shone brightly towards her direction and slowed down as it approached her.
