WEIMIN
As soon as he saw that she had gotten her magic back, he knew he needed to leave. He knew that she was dangerous and knew that he had underestimated the situation. He never expected her to react so strongly.
She and Bolin don't even know each other that well, why was she reacting so much?
He slips away and heads straight to his estate, using his power to help quicken his pace. He needed to grab his chains and the medication he prepared beforehand. If he can get close enough, he can use the chains and the medicine to hold her and knock her out.
He will kill the damn Dragon if he has to. She was truly full of surprises. Who knew that her world had dragons as well. It doesn't matter right now though, if the Dragon tries to protect her, he'll have no choice but to kill it.
The damn rune or whatever Aiya called it was completely useless! As soon as he grabs everything, a servant runs in and says, "Bolin isn't dead! He's alive and he took the King! We can't enter either, some kind of strange power is keeping us from entering."
Weimin's pupils shrink when he hears that Bolin was alive. How was he still alive!? He watched him die! Hell, the poison was one of the strongest in the world! How the hell was the bastard still alive!? Anyone else would have been dead and gone.
He clenches the chains in his hands as his eyes narrow in thought.
That's just it... Bolin isn't normal. He never has been. Any normal human would be dead, but he was alive? This just confirms his doubts. Something about Bolin isn't normal... something isn't quite right or quite human.
"Young Master?" The servant nervously asks. Weimin snaps out of it and says, "Call the imperial army immediately! Attack and kill them both." The servant bows and quickly runs away. He didn't want Lyra to be killed but she seemed to be somewhat immortal.
She died in his arms and yet he watched her come back to life and heal herself. It took several days but that would be perfect. If the army kills them both and takes out the Dragon, all he'd have to do is walk in and scoop her up after.
This was better, much better.
Suddenly, his mood darkens. Aiya! That lying bitch told him the rune or whatever it's called would stop her from using her magic! It was useless! She must have lied to him. He turns and heads straight to the underground prison.
As soon as he walks up to the cell, he notices something isn't quite right. He pauses, looking at her lifeless body hanging from the wall with a frown.
He walks in and finds himself shocked. She was dead? How? He made sure to keep her alive at all times. He lifts his hand, unleashing his power as he tries to get a better picture when he suddenly freezes.
Bolin?
He swallows hard as he takes a step back and stares at the corpse. From the residue power, he can tell that the woman died a horrible and painful death. How had he gotten in here!? His mind races with fear and confusion as his eyes wander around the dark cell.
That's it!
Aiya still had her shadow; the cell was underground and dark! It was the perfect combination for Bolin! Because it was underground, the Array didn't reach it! He curses under his breath and throws the chains in his hands down on the ground with irritation.
He was careful with everything he did and yet he overlooked something so simple and stupid. Rushing feet can be heard as several servants come rushing into the underground prison. He turns and walks over to the entrance asking, "What is it?"
The servant in front steps forward with wide eyes and says, "Two... there are two Dragons! The second one was even bigger than the first one!" Another servant steps up and quickly says, "Not only that... They disappeared! Black shadows swallowed them, and they completely disappeared!"
Even knowing the answer, Weimin still asks, "Who disappeared?" The servant quickly responds, "The goddess, Bolin, and the two Dragons!" Weimin slowly lifts his head straight up, looking up at the low ceiling before closing his eyes in anger.
That bastard came back to life and ruined everything! How dare he take her! Anger seeps from him in waves, causing the servants to take several cautionary steps back. Weimin slowly looks back to the servants and says, "Prepare a horse for me."
The servants quickly nod and scramble to do just that as Weimin gathers his thoughts. He walks out and heads straight for the side gate. A servant meets him there with his horse. Without saying a word, he quickly jumps up on the horse and takes off.
He heads straight for the dark mountains in the east and doesn't stop until he reaches a large cave opening. The horse huffs and puffs from exhaustion but Weimin pays it no mind as he quickly slides off and heads straight for the cave.
Before he can walk in, a powerful force stops him in his tracks as a deep voice says, "How rude of you to just storm over here and try to enter my home without an invitation." A man with long silver hair steps out of the cave with dark eyes as he says, "I should kill you."
Weimin cups his hands and bows as he says, "Please forgive me, deity of the east. I come seeking you because our world is in great trouble. Please hear me out." The man with long silver hair looks at Weimin with annoyance as he says, "How is any of that my concern? Leave!"
He turns around, heading back into his cave when Weimin suddenly says, "I suspect this man isn't human! He took a woman from me as well. She's a goddess who is extremely powerful, but she isn't from our world. She's being deceived by this creature! He's leading her astray and I fear that with his influence, they will bring an end to our world!"
The deity stops and stands silently for a few moments before turning around and asking, "If he isn't human, then what is he? And a goddess? It seems like I've missed a few interesting things while cultivating."
Weimin's heart races with anticipation as he looks up and asks, "Does that mean you'll help?" The deity stares at Weimin without saying anything. He turns and walks back into the cave while saying, "I think I'll have to go see things for myself. Leave, you stink and you're making the air smell."
Weimin grits his teeth in annoyance, but he bows and says, "As you wish." He turns and walks back to the horse. He climbs up and takes back off to the palace but this time he isn't in a hurry. This time he takes his time.
He didn't want to call upon the deity of the east, but he no longer had a choice. He only hopes that he will kill Bolin and get rid of him for good.
