Chapter 3

Aiden held his hand over Clyde's shoulders and said dude, you seriously didn't have to do that, you should have taken her number and hang out with her. Clyde sighed and paused on his tracks and said 'Relationships are simply a waste of strength,time and energy and I simply can't afford to waste all that. Then he turned and looked at Aiden and said you still have a long way ahead of you and also a future to live up to, wasting your time in nonsense is something I hardly call worth while. Then he started moving, Aiden sighed and thought 'this guy is such a sadist, how did I manage to make friends with him?. then he shouted hey, wait up!!!.

when he arrived home he lazily laid on the bed and closed his eyes, the next time he opened it again, it was 11:55pm. he took a bath and changed his outfit to a black hoodie, a jean trouser and a black Nike sneakers. He jumped down the window effortlessly and walked into the shadow of darkness, then he heard the some footsteps and paused on his tracks, it approached him then when he was sure that he was facing whatever approached him, he smirked and said who's coward enough to hide under the shadow of darkness, the he heard the sound of a sword being removed from it's sheat and then he heard running footsteps. Then he summoned Ascalon and a beautiful sword emitting light came out of his ear and he pulled it out and the sound of clashing sword was heard, he got bored of whoever he was sword fighting and without even breaking a sweat he cut of the bearers head. He sighed and looked at his watch, it was only 2:38am and he walked back home. He didn't bother about the body because it evaporated as soon as ascalon penetrated.

On reaching home, He sensed a presence but he knew that it wasn't a demon or a human. he smirked and said why have you come?, my time isn't due yet..... Raphael'. A guy with brown eyes that matched his hair with perfect physique stood behind him but didn't say a word, then he disappeared. That end of the week, Clyde was graduating high school and after he did he prepared for college.
