Chapter 3

Magnolia

    I screamed and sat straight up. My dreams were slowly becoming more and more life-like by the night. This one started out fine, I was curled up next to my english teacher talking to him and then suddenly he turned into Dimitri and began trying to force me into sex.

    I looked over at my clock and cursed. I got up and threw on my black and red lace lingerie, my pitch black school girl outfit and some black flats over white stockings. I grabbed my backpack, ran down the stairs grabbing something to eat and bolted out the door. I thanked god that people were just walking into the building as I parked my car. I got out and was hit by something.

    I looked up to find Dimitri walking away, someone was pulling into the lot just as I was standing. I was able to get to my locker without people asking any questions. Raven was standing at my locker watching me. "Mag who did that to your eye?" "What are you talking about Raven?"

    She began pulling me into the closest classroom saying that she always knew that this would happen. I tried telling her that I just ran into something. The door swung open and Mr. Owens walked in. He walked right passed us looking dazed, Raven and I walked over to the desk just as he was looking up. "Magnolia what happened to you?" I attempted to hide my face walking away.

    Raven stood in front of me and said, "Dimitri hit her, I saw him." The floor creaked as Mr. Owens got up, he stood in front of me and asked if this was true and I reluctantly nodded.

Dante

    I looked at Raven and told her to go to class. She did so leaving Magnolia and myself alone in my classroom. "Magnolia how long has Dimitri been doing this?" I laid my hands on her shoulders and she flinched. I had her sit in my chair telling her that she won't be leaving until she answered me.

    She continued to stare at the floor so I knelt in front of her. "He's been doing this for the past year." I picked her up wrapping around her.  She tried to fight me, but soon gave up. I walked her to the office and told the secretary that I was taking her home.

    I grabbed her keys and unlocked the doors. I put her in the passenger side and closed the door, after I got in the driver's seat I began driving back to my house. As I pulled into the alley I was hoping that my brother wasn't home. I opened the door to find that my brother had actually left. I walked her upstairs to my room and told her to sit and I'll be right back.

Magnolia

    I was sitting on a soft bed when I finally snapped out of my trance. I got up and started looking around, I noticed some photos and seen that it was Mr. Owens times two. Someone was coming into the room so I quickly sat back down to find that Mr. Owens had grabbed a first aid kit. He sat in front of me and started to clean my face. After he was done neither one of us moved.

    He kept glancing at my lips and then back up at my face. All of a sudden he was kissing me, I wasn't exactly sure what to do so I kissed him back. His kisses were different than Dimitri's, they were urgent and very intoxicating. He wrapped his arms around me bringing me closer. When we finally pulled back he seemed shocked.

    "Uh… sorry about that I don't know what got into me." My face was turning red  and I just shook my head. He finished with cleaning up my face and walked out saying that I could sleep here for a little, while he notified my mother. I laid there trying to sleep, but I continued to see Dimitri standing directly in front of me. Finally I was fed up with trying and walked down the stairs.

    I came upon a dark living room with a sliver of light coming through the curtain. I walked towards it hearing someone singing softly to themselves. I walked into a large kitchen to find Mr. Owens in a pair of faded jeans cooking something. I moved towards a barstool as quietly as possible, but he turned around and caused me to scream. "Shesh Magnolia don't sneak up on me like that."

    I looked down at my feet and said sorry. I seen him move towards me and I attempted to step back, but ran into a counter. He grabbed my chin slightly and lifted my face. "Why do you do that?" I shrugged and tried to move away. He placed his hands on either side of me trapping my body between his and the counter top.
