150. Little Inconvenience (Part 1)

Jael stood by the open door, where he was joined by Kieran. The guards stopped in front of them and they immediately bowed.

"This is the physician," Damon announced as Zane placed a small human in front of Jael. Jael noticed Damon's coat was missing but thought nothing of it.

Jael squinted and stepped forward to have a closer look. The human shrank at his stare. The human did not look that old. If Jael had to guess, he would say mid-twenties by human standards.

"Evan sent this?" Jael peered at him, he wasn't sure how he felt about the human but he did think he was a little too young. His age didn't matter though, as long as he knew what to do.

However, that was not the only problem. The human also looked sick, Jael was surprised he could stand. His face was red as if all his blood had flowed to his head and he looked like he would fall at any point.

"About that," Damon said walking forward. "I need to have a word with you, Sire."
