235. Conversation With Sabrina

Mauve's eyes flew open and she rose to a sitting position. She winced as she felt a sharp pain in her neck. How long was she asleep? She tried to stretch out her neck and felt a bit of relief.

She looked around her room, the only source of light was the candlelight on the table. It was more than halfway gone.

She had laid on the bed after cleaning up and had fallen asleep immediately. Somehow, Jael managed to get her to her room without incident.

She threw her legs out the side of her bed and got out of it. She walked toward the window and poked her head out of it.

She could see it was still dark out but with how dark it was, she could tell it would probably be less than two hours before dawn.

She had been asleep for at least three hours. She yawned and her stomach growled. There was still some time before the last meal of the day.
