307. Not Right

Mauve felt very warm as she sat on Jael's legs, she didn't want to let go. The past couple of days made her realize just how helpless she was around vampires.

Jael made her forget how vicious they could be and how completely different her story would have been if he hadn't taken a liking to her.

Her life was already so much better, it would be greediness for her to ask for more. However, she couldn't help the thought that it wasn't enough.

The door flew open and Mill walked in with a huge bath. She bowed her head toward their direction and proceeded to place the bath in the corner of the room.

She took a couple of steps forward and stopped a few feet from the bed. "I already informed Mister Herbert of your presence and he has moved the second meal to as long as you need to get ready. He informed the guests and they don't mind waiting."

A frown appeared on Jael's face but he simply said, "That's fine Mill, you may leave."
