Danag walked into the study and paused dramatically at the door. It was like he could tell something was wrong.

"How nice of you to join, Danag," Louis whispered.

"I did, took you long enough."

"I apologize, I was busy with the Lords. The servant you sent was unaware of this and therefore, had a hard time finding me. Is there something you'd like me to do?"

Danag froze before slowly raising his head. "I am so sorry, Sire but I am afraid I have no idea."

"Like Louis, you're both useless."

"I apologize for not being of any help but if I may, I'd prefer you look in the other direction in this case. Lord Seraphino is trying to get your attention and he knows this is the best way to do it."

"Are you saying I should turn a blind eye?" Jael asked.
