"I can't believe they agreed," Mauve said to Jael when they got to the confines of his room.

Jael nodded. They had to. He was more surprised it took as long as it did. The meeting had dragged on until after the second meal, and they had ended up eating the last meal before they came to the room, but it wasn't a complete waste of time.

"The second part of the plan is to speak to your brother about it," Jael said.

Mauve nodded excitedly. When she thought about it, she didn't really think it would progress this quickly. However, she didn't like the doubt she felt, but it was Malcolm. If there was anyone she could convince, she figured it would be her brother.
