100 Ways To Seduce A Man

It was a cool evening, as usual, Ariel was left alone in the castle with the servants. King Vladimir had gone out to take care of some business affairs while the Lords went to carry out their various responsibilities.

Ariel was sitting on the swing under the giant mushroom thinking about how her parents are fairing. Ariel was all alone because she dismissed her maids, thinking that they had become pests. She was lost in her thoughts and didn't even know when Duchess Graciela came in.

A smile crept on Graciela's face when she saw the innocent look on Ariel's face. She also came with her maid.

"Princess Ariel!" Graciela muttered.

Ariel turned to face her. She was overwhelmed when she saw who came around.

"Duchess Graciela," Ariel said with a smile on her face. She stood up immediately to welcome the Duchess. "Come sit," she said leading her to her small setting.

Graciela and Ariel exchanged pleasantries. Both ladies settled down to have a chitchat.

"Would you like to take anything?"

"Why don't we have dinner together?" Graciela asked, smiling from ear to ear.

Ariel paused for a while before answering her. "I'll be having dinner with the King and the Lords." She answered.

"Oh... I'll take just tea then."

Princess Ariel instructed her made to offer the Duchess what she requested and serve her fruits while they brew her tea.

"How's your relationship with the King? You know, rumors say that both of you are not on good terms." Graciela asked curiously with her gaze on Ariel.

The latter was startled by the question that was thrown at her. She saw it as a difficult question and it was like interfering with her private life.

Seeing the look on Ariel's innocent face. Graciela chuckled. "I'm sorry if I'm interfering with your private affairs but I can help you if you tell me." She grinned.

Graciela was just showing her aspect of concern towards Ariel, since they became friends she has always given Ariel a little bit of advice on some minor issues that always worked out for her. Graciela's sincerity was genuine.

"I and King Vladimir are not like terms. We barely talk to each other and we don't share a bed or talk more in a room. We don't see eye to eye." Ariel confessed with a frown on her face.

Graciela was touched. "Do you love him?"

Love?

Ariel's feelings were far from love.

The woman in question was contemplating how to answer Graciela's question.

"I don't think I have feelings for King Vladimir. I only admire him, somehow though."

Graciela was shocked at Ariel's response. She didn't love the man she was married to. Who did she have feelings for then? "Do you have feelings for any of the Lords?"

Feelings for any of the Lords?

Was she asking her this because she and Lord Orpheus are couple? Or what?

"You want to find out if I and Lord Orpheus have something to do with each other?" Ariel clenched her jaw.

Graciela chuckled hard. That was far from what she had thought. She slightly slapped Ariel's shoulder. "Silly you! Snap out of it? That was not why I asked the question. Is just that, if you don't have feelings for your husband, who else would you have feelings for?"

Ariel was amazed by Graciela's honesty. Hardly would she see someone as honest as Duchess Graciela. Ariel thought of giving her a straight answer.

"I don't know yet. But I think I'm having a thingy for Lord Luthur." Ariel confessed.

Her confession made Graciela laugh her ass out. Ariel, when will she grow up?

"Is it that funny?" A slight frown settled on Ariel's face.

"Princess Ariel, you're seeking the impossible. Lord Luthur is hard to please. Although King Vladimir is like that I know you might be able to tame him. As for Lord Luthur, he's rumored to be the devil." Graciela said almost in a whisper.

Ariel gasped.

"It was the King that was rumored to be the devil until Lord Luthur showed up. But actually, they're something else." Graciela said, clasping her hands.

"What are they?"

The last sentence Graciela made didn't escape Ariel's ears.

"Hmm...Hmmm..." Graciela shutters "They're just hard to please." She lied before she put the already-served strawberry in her mouth.

"..."

"Have you ever thought of seducing the King or intimately pleasing him? From your expression, I can tell you both haven't consummated your wedding yet." Graciela asked deviating from their former discussion.

Ariel felt embarrassed by Graciela's question. Her cheeks flushed red as she thought about it.

"No, I've never thought of that."

Graciela smiled but the smile didn't stay long on her face. "As if I knew, I came prepared." She whispered a few things to her maid who was behind her. The maid brought a big book and placed it on the table in front of the women.

"What's the book for?"

"This book would be of great help to you. It has 100 ways to seduce a man. So I'll be handing it over to you." Graciela shifted the book in Ariel's direction.

Ariel was absent-minded. How would she be able to seduce King Vladimir? Is not necessary. She wanted him to beg for her love and not the opposite.

"I don't think I can do this. I don't need a book of seduction." Arielle protested.

Although Graciela wasn't expecting it. She couldn't persuade Ariel. It is improper to force her to do something out of her own will. She just let out a sigh and handed the book to her maid instead.

"I understand what you're trying to do Ariel. You'll just have to do things slowly. Slow and steady wins the race. King Vladimir is a difficult person." Graciela advised.

Ariel let out a sigh of relief. She thought that the Duchess won't be pleased because she rejected her offer but it turned out to be the opposite.

"Yes." Ariel nodded in agreement.

Duchess Graciela stood up about to leave. "It's late now, I'll take my leave." She smiled.

Ariel saw her off and headed back to the castle but the men occupant were not back yet so she had dinner alone and retired for the night.

What a stressful day! Ariel thought.
