Loving Her Endlessly

Amira; the Prophetess cautioned King Vladimir on how to treat his wife right, but he didn't seem to listen. Vladimir was getting tired from her nonstop nagging.

"Are you just going to stand there and nag? I'm already tired." King Vladimir rubbed his temple with his index finger, yawning tiredly.

Amira saw it as an insult. She wanted to land a slap on his face but she couldn't bring herself to do it for the fact that he was a king. Not just a common King but a powerful King ruling the powerful Kingdom of Vallat.

"I just want you to do what is right. If Princess Ariel gets tired of your nasty behavior, she's going plot an escape plan." Amira said hastily.

King Vladimir sighed tiredly. "There's no escaping here. Her chance of escaping is very slim. Don't be so paranoid!"

"Yes, very slim but she's your only chance of making you redeem yourself." She said thinking of a way to convince him more.

If only Amira could focus on punishing them rather than helping them redeem themselves.

Currently, they were having their discussion in the East Wing. Not only was his study and bedroom there, but there was also a place where they all have their meeting instead of going to the enchanted cave where Amira lives.

"Have you ever thought of loving her endlessly? It's won't hurt if you try." Amira suggested. If only she knew that she'd regret her suggestion.

Loving her endlessly?!

That's impossible.

Vladimir wanted to laugh at her words and at the same time she saw the pain in his eyes.

"Amira, don't you have a heart? You want me to end up like Luthur?"

"Luthur is suffering from a great fate and he doesn't want to redeem himself. Rather he wants to die from the things of the past..." Amira said but she was cut off by the man in question.

"And who said I'm suffering a great fate?" Lord Luthur cuts in. Speaking of the devil, he was here to caution them.

King Vladimir kept his straight face. Since Luthur was here now, he'd make things hard for them. He's a man that can never be touched by anyone's mere words.

"Luthur, you're here. How did you come in?" King Vladimir asked trying to digress from the topic.

Lord Luthur found his question silly and made himself comfortable on the dusty chair. The place was a mess and no one was allowed to enter and the occupants could bring themselves low to carry out the cleaning.

"Did you bolt the door?" Lord Luthur asked crossing his leg and his arms around his muscular chest.

Amira was lost in their conversation. Luthur is going to make things hard for them and she needed a suitable thing to say that'll help in deviating from their discussion.

"Before I'll end this discussion. Vladimir, Princess Ariel is your redeemer. I'm not your redeemer but your punisher. If you can't bring yourself to love her." She let out a deep sigh, glaring at King Vladimir.

"You can take her back to Macbeth, her home town and she can marry the man that she wants. But mind you, you will continue helping the Kingdom of Macbeth. If not they'll go back to square one."

King Vladimir listened to her every word. A part of him wanted to let Ariel go and another part wants her to stay. The other creature in him wants her to stay while he wants to let her go. He has to listen to the creature inside him else he won't find peace.

As for Lord Luthur, he was listening to their conversation with his eyes closed. He finds their discussion boring.

He just came because he heard his name being called.

"What about Raul?" He heard Vladimir ask.

The question was thrown to Amira who was about to leave.

"Raul is still inside the coffin."

"When will he be out?"

"I don't know." She firmly said before she disappeared.

King Vladimir and Lord Luthur exchanged glances.

"Why did you come here, Luthur?" Vladimir asked curiously. The man just appeared out of the blue without anyone inviting him in.

"What do you think?" Luthur answered him back. As usual, he never answers directly. Before King Vladimir could ask him anything further he disappeared.

King Vladimir hates Lord Luthur for his nonchalant behavior. He needed to know who the man is. He might be covering his real identity with a mask.

He snapped out of his thought and went out of the East Wing. His guards had been replaced, they gave way for their King to pass. On the left hand, Sabre was there bowing with a written note on her hand.

"Long live his Royal Majesty." Sabre kneeled before King Vladimir.

King Vladimir motioned her to stand up and the reason for her to come to see him.

"State your business!" He ordered.

Sabre passed on the written note to him. "Her Ladyship wants me to deliver this to you." She said wanting to leave but he halted her.

The King gave Sabre back the letter and told her to read it to his hearing. He never knew he would regret it. It was better he read it himself.

Sabre did as she was instructed. She opened the note and read what was inside.

[You damn King, you can't keep me lock up in your stupid prison forever.]

Sabre immediately apologized. She knelt knowing that the note would anger the King.

The guard didn't dare to laugh because they found it funny. But who would have dared to send the King this kind of note?

It was absurd.

But Sabre mentioned earlier that her Ladyship wants her to deliver the note to the King.

King Vladimir was in dilemma. Instead of getting pissed off by what the more says. Half of his lips formed in a smirk. The guards and Sabre were scared of the King's next move.

They were all expecting the King to be furious but he wasn't. Maybe because he knew who the sender was.

King Vladimir strode out of the place, heading to somewhere you might not want to realize.
