The Morning Light

The morning light enters the big glass windows blowing the white nylon curtains making the room bright. Cornelia woke up with her brown silky long hair all messed up and slowly tried to open up her blue eyes that cannot be compared with any sea out there her white skin shone bright in the morning light. She yawned and got off her bed to freshen up. Rushing down the stairs in a stylish yet funky dress, her gaze lands on the grand dining table full of royal gold flowers and white surfaced table, cornelia realizes how seeing her family altogether makes her feel warm.Cornelia sat on the table and smiled at her four handsome brothers that sat infront her. A women rushing out with the pot of tea and my favorite raspberry pancakes, kissed cornelia on the forehead and said. "Good morning, darling". "Good morning mom", smiled cornelia.

Cornelia started her breakfast when her brother plead, "Can I sit here please. This spot helps to reach all the food items easily". "Sure you-dad interrupted and stated," No one except my daughter can sit at the end chair of the table ". Kevin complained, " Princess ". Cornelia smiled and looked at her father in a questioning expression asking about this. He clearly stated. " This chair will always belong to cornelia. As a princess always starts everything, and you four will always sit beside cornelia, like her guardians and protect her no matter what happens". Kevin, Rex, George and Fred nodded and swore to always protect cornelia. Looking at the clock cornelia quickly said her goodbyes and rushed to the door as the school was about to start in thirty minutes. She finally reached the school gate before could close and met her best friend Ariana, and hugged her instantly and said. " Ahhhh ... I missed you so much, thank god you are finally back. How was your trip? "It was far more amazing than you can imagine cornelia. Paris is the place of wonders, I had the best time," ariana replied. The parted friends were reunited after three months, so they walked together to the classroom talking all the way.

School bell rang and in no time the school was empty like no one was even here. Cornelia and ariana decided to make their reunion memorable so they decided to go to a gaming zone and play games. Cornelia and ariana were having fun when cornelia saw someone she thought she would never be able to see again in her life. Cornelia froze at the spot as the person came near her, her feet literally froze there for a minute and she pointed her finger towards him saying, "are you really Louise, he nodded and cornelia jumped in to hug him. Cornelia excalimed, "I missed you so much in these three years, I'm so glad that you are back, are everyone else back as well". Loiuse answered, "Yeah! All of us came back". Ariana asked "Psst .... Who is this guy?Oh!Louise this is ariana and ariana this is louise cornelia replied. Nice to meet you, both of them said.

Cornelia invited louise for games and he joined right away, they had a blast together, but it was getting late and it was time to go home. At the exit Cornelia said, " Hey why don't you visit us someday and have dinner." Loiuse replied, Sure!'I will …we will.. soon.' " Ok. I'll be waiting," said cornelia. They waved goodbye and cornelia noticed ariana not being herself, she is never shy infact she is such a confident girl who will even be good and all friendly with a complete stranger, but she was kind of off. Cornelia saw ariana's eyes chasing louise as he took a left to the ally and saw her cheeks getting red. Cornelia said, "Ariana are you ok?why are your cheeks red and you are burning up? Wait, I know you have butterflies in your stomach ... hmm— No!That is not true I'm am totally fine" exclaimed ariana. "Oh come on!Dont hide it from me I am your friend and of course I can help you as w- You can, really, how!", ariana exclaimed. Cornelia bumped her shoulder and said, "So you admit you like him don't you". Ariana replies in low voice, "So what if I d- What!I can't hear you properly, can you be more loud, " cornelia yelled. "Fine I do." Ariana yelled back. "Good, I will let you know once I get a chance ok?" Ok!Ariana replied to cornelia.

Next day Cornelia wakes up and sees that all the maids are working and mom is worried as well so she went to mom and said, " what is all the ruckus about mom, is everything ok? "She replied, " No. Your aunt Nancy is coming for dinner at our house and you know that she is so serious about cleanliness. I don't want her to comment on my cleaning." Right after hearing that cornelia rushed straight to her room and called ariana and said, " Hey ariana, dinner 8 pm at my house. Don't be late and wear something fancy." Ariana exclaimed, " Wait, what, why, when. What is going on! 'Just do as I say. We have a dinner at our house for louise and his family so I as a good friend am inviting you. Ok bye.' " Cornelia replied. It was seven past thirty and in the bright, white light a gorgeous girl with black hair flying with the blow of wind, wearing a fabulous blue short dress and a luxurious golden belt round her waist, entered the hall with clanking heels, Cornelia in a pink sparkling dress with a beautiful curtain net hanging on the side and her shiny hair lifted up in a beautiful bun came near her and said, excuse me who are you?I told ariana to come. "Hahaha, very funny cornelia." Ariana replied. "What ariana is this really you, I cant believe it". Cornelia taunted her. "Not bad yourself you look beautiful as well"., Ariana commented. "No, I always dress girly but seeing you like this really is out of the blue. Wow I really want to see how much my cousin's love can change my tomboy friend into a beautiful girl." Cornelia laughed.

Both of the girls helped set up the table and finally the chief guests of the party arrived. A handsome guy entered the room with a blue tie, a perfect black and white pant, shirt and black hair in a messy look. Cornelia bumped ariana and said, "Look he is wearing a matching tie. This could be a sign". Ariana replied, "Don't be ridiculous it is just a coincidence ". " Well this coincidence is surely a good one ". Cornelia chuckled. Louise came near cornelia, greeted her and kissed her hand. Cornelia instantly snatched her hand and greeted back while ariana was noticing.

They all sat on the table and started to eat, when cornelia introduced her friend to everyone. Louise's mom commented ariana and said, "You look rather close to cornelia for her to invite a friend in a complete family dinner". Ariana smiled and looked down. Ariana noticed louise bumping her mother's elbow, which showed that he wanted her mother to tell something. This made ariana worried. Suddenly loiuse stood up and said, "My mom and I have something important to tell everyone". He said this while looking at cornelia.
