Thibaut released blades made of pure energy at the cats, the blast moved so fast it seemed like it tore through the air as it made for all four cats. The cats raised their paws instinctively to block the incoming blades but were pushed back a few steps due to the force, Thibaut was shocked that the paws of wild cats could stop his attack and with very little effort at that.
The cats' eyes shone a bright red as they charged at Thibaut, Thibaut chanted a few silent words and a sword appeared in his right hand. He aimed his sword for the back of an approaching cat, the cat swiftly swerved to the right avoiding the strike. The cat stood on it hind legs and aimed it's paws at paws at Thibaut's jaw, Thibaut moved swiftly out of reach. He had witnessed the power of the cats' paws, one hit and he'd kiss his jaws good bye.
As he avoided the attack, the other three charged at him together. Their retracted claws stretched out reaching about thirty five centimeters in legnth, Thibaut pumped pure energy into his sword and soon his sword was clashing with several paws.
Thibaut cast a sleeping spell on three of the cats and aimed for the last one but it was the most tricky so he decided to take it down the old fashion way before the spell he cast on the others would wear off.
He chanted a few words and his sword was covered in blue flame. He send a batch of flame towards the cat, he intended on ending the fight with that one attack. The cat looked agitated, it seemed to hate fire. It roared loudly as the flame approached, the roar carried a strong wind force that blew the flame away, sending Thibaut to the ground in the process.
Thibaut held onto a piece of their scattered cage, he had landed on his spine and he was in severe pain. As he managed to get to his feet, he was shocked that all four cats had regrouped. ' How did my spell wear out that eas..', his thoughts were cut short by a sharp pain in his lower abdomen. He ducked quickly to avoid an incoming spike, he hadn't realized the cats could throw spikes until now. Their throwing pace was faster than Thibaut could imagine, he was only surviving on pure instinct and he knew it.
He ran towards a wall to his left at full speed, using the wall as a step off, he lifted himself into the air. Mid air, he shot out pure energy blasts at the cats.
He won big there, the cats weren't expecting that move. They were in a fight and anticipating your opponent's move was vital, they had missed out on that little detail and they were going to pay dearly for it.
Thibaut heaved a sigh of relief, he finally managed to slow down the tempo of the fight. He mumbled a spell and bright crystal like particles appeared over his right hand and circled it slowly, he moved his hand and several metals from the rubbles of their cage accompanied it back. This was the advantage the magicians had over other factions, they could easily manipulate anything around them to their advantage.
Thibaut sent his hand towards the cats with force, sending the metals towards the already wounded cats. The cats managed to evade some of the metals, but they couldn't keep up with the speed of Thibaut's attacks anymore. They stared viciously at him, they could already smell defeat but they only needed to stall them for a few more minutes before reinforcement arrived and so for those minutes, they'd play a new game with their guest. They couldn't afford to show any form of weakness.
The largest cat stood on its hind legs, its head raised high. It soon began to glow and then the others followed suit. The four lights soon merged, forming one big, scary looking creature.
It stamped its feet on the ground, smashing the grout and sending the fragments at Thibaut. He put his arms together in a cross shape and a force field of extremely pure energy was formed, it was a transparent one. One of the strongest shields there were and only magicians or extremely powerful gods could use it.
As soon as Thibaut could get out of the stone haul, he vanished. The cats hybrid version had an excellent sense of smell and it was sure Thibaut didn't leave the room, that meant he only used an invisibility spell. It moved slowly towards a spot, there didn't seem to be anything special about it apart from the fine speckles of metal that lay all over it.
The cat hybrid made a swipe at a point on the spot where Thibaut's scent was coming from but didn't hit it's target.
The fine pieces of metal soon dissipated even more that they seemed to have vanished, the cat hybrid looked agitated. It knew Thibaut was up to something but it didn't know what it was.
The cat hybrid carefully backed out of the room, but it hadn't gone far when a large metal came out of its chest.
It's eyes bulged and blood poured out of every available space in it's body, bright light shone and the cats separated as the breathed their last breaths.
Meanwhile, Thibaut had used an ancient magic known as nature's mist to terminate the cats. This magic can reduce every material to it's simplest form including living things like humans, but magicians didn't use it alot unless they had reach the stage of ultimate magic because of how much pure energy it soaked up.
Thibaut had used it on himself and the metals making both him and the metals invisible, the metal became small enough to penetrate the cats' body without it noticing before solidifying. But Thibaut had gotten a hit himself, he was in a form where the slightest touch could send him disorganize his composition and leave him floating forever.
The cat had however taken a swipe at his upper arm, leaving a large hole there. He would definitely heal but that would take a while especially now that he had used up almost all the pure energy in him, he only had enough to keep him alive. Thibaut walked slowly out of the room, he didn't even know where he was, he and Cynthia were brought there in blindfolds but he knew he'd somehow find his base.

Alex and Bianca walked out of the detention zone looking rather happy in contrast to the usual appearance of previous detainees, the chatted and laughed as the walked through the broad hallways, every other student's eyes were on them. They were the two weirdos in the school and as one would expect they'd become friends, Alex had gone on a rampage on his first day and so has Bianca. She was arguably one of the most beautiful ladies in the school but she had a cold, chilly personality that chased both boys and girls away from her, funny how she was friends with someone.
As they approached the diversion that led to the female hostel, a rather masculine lady passed by them and shoved Alex almost causing him to fall. Alex of course turned after her but Bianca held him back, " I don't know her actual name but people call her hive, trust me you don't want to mess with her" she advised.
They hadn't gone far when they heard gasps behind them. On turning they met a young guy about fifteen years of age with a dark golden hair, he had dark eyes beautiful eyes, but a closer look and one would see the storm and chaos that laid behind. These combined features gave him the perfect look.
He had his hand raised up with hive mid air and panting heavily, he had single handedly taken down one of the most dangerous girls in the school and without any stress.
" You're welcome" the boy said enthusiastically and scampered away.
After seeing Bianca off to her hostel, Alex went to Elder Julius' quarters. He needed to apologize for staying long at Thibaut's base and almost getting him in trouble. He knocked briefly and went in without waiting for an answer, he met the old man in the middle of a meditation session. He had seen him do it before and he knew he'd have to wait the remaining hours of the day to talk to him so he dropped him a letter and left.

In a conference room, several advanced looking men and women sat over fruit drinks.
" Brújula, do you think the humans are behind this?" a lady asked looking very concerned.
" No, I don't. No human is strong enough to take out a supernatural being and all the recent deaths have been linked with supernatural beings, the swords used are also reinforced with really pure energy. This means the culprit is a really strong one" Brújula concluded, further tensing the atmosphere in the room.
" So what do we do? Brújula", another male asked with a rather unconcerned expression.
" We wait!" Brújula replied with a determined look on his face.
