Can’t it wait?

Emma looked at her hand. The cut was deep and blood was gushing out of it, causing her to feel lightheaded and dizzy. Karen quickly grabbed a clean kitchen towel and applied pressure to the wound while Ivy frantically searched for the first aid kit. They both knew Emma needed immediate medical attention and decided to rush her to the clinic.

Karen took the lead, quickly grabbing her keys and directing Ivy to help support Emma's injured hand. They moved quickly, almost running to Karen's car parked outside. Emma was struggling to stay alert, feeling woozy and disoriented from the blood loss.

The drive to the clinic felt like an eternity, with Karen speeding through the traffic, weaving in and out of cars to get there as quickly as possible. Emma was grateful for their swift actions, knowing that every second counted in an emergency.
