This Place Is Too Strange!

Moments later, several black-robed wizards came down the stairs, carrying the bodies of their fellow wizards on their shoulders.

One of them, a black-robed wizard with a ragged body, limped down the stairs and glared venomously at Adrian, unhappy that he had used him as bait, but not daring to act out…

Adanne's face was as dark as thunder. It had only been ten minutes since they entered the Dark Arts shop, but four people had been injured.

To his great frustration, he did not even see his attacker, and his only achievement was blowing up a powerful Patronus upstairs.

"You'd better hope I don't catch you!" Adrian snapped, trying to decide how to torture her.

Upstairs, Adanne had already figured out that Ralph and the others had fallen into the enemy's trap and ended up being hacked to death by a pile of kitchenware…

He had warned these idiots not to touch anything!

Adrian cursed under his breath, but he knew that Ralph was usually clever, and that he had fallen into the trap not just because of his carelessness.

As the powerful Adian of the previous Patronus had personally experienced, it was not unusual to be victimised during a first contact.

Fortunately, he blew it up. Using such a powerful spell would definitely consume a lot of magic, and the other party might not be able to cast it a second time.

"Brand… Semf… get your ass over here and help!" Adrian yelled as he dragged a corpse down the stairs with his right hand.

The whole first floor is silent and there is no response…

Adanne's expression changed, and she suddenly felt uneasy. She quickly led everyone to the counter on the first floor, only to find Brand and Semph lying on the ground.

There did not seem to be any injuries on them, which meant that in the few minutes that they had been going up and down the stairs, Brand and Semph had been easily dealt with without even putting up a fight…

When the black-robed wizards saw this, they gasped and felt a chill run down their spines. They looked around suspiciously, as if something would rush out of the dark space and tear them apart…

The two black-robed wizards waved their wands as if they were venting their anger. Rays of magical light shot through the air and struck shelves, counters, and glass covers, shattering them.

Adanne also waved her wand and cast a counter-curse. The magical waves swept around, but she found nothing. The dimly lit Wizarding Shop was still empty.

"Adrian! This place is too strange. Let's leave first…" One of them could not help but say.

Adanne's face was ashen. He had a feeling that this trip was a mistake!

"Take Brand and Semf and let's go!" Adanne forced the word out of his mouth and decided to call off the operation. He was worried that everyone would die here if they continued.

The moment the words left Adarian's mouth, a sense of danger gripped them, as if they were being targeted by a deadly viper.

Not far from them, in an empty space, a slightly childish voice spoke.

"Explode!"

A fiery light lit up the darkened Dark Arts shop, and the flame expanded into a giant orange fireball that swept towards the assembled black-robed wizards.

Adanne's pupils contracted and her hair stood on end. She only had time to swing her wand with all her might and conjure a grayish-black shield not far ahead.

The few black-robed wizards who were still able to move also cast spells with all their might…

Magic barriers blocked the path of the fireball and were instantly crushed…

The giant orange fireball only met some resistance when it collided with the sturdy shield, and then it expanded rapidly before exploding.

A great roar went up in the closed shop,

The flames were so intense that the shelves and counters nearby were knocked away by the violent blast, the glass covers cracked, and a circular hole was blasted through the wall…

In the light of the fire, Ivan was barely visible, his robes flapping and his cloak hood falling off.

"I should have known that Alicia wouldn't be able to use a thunderbolt of this magnitude…" Ivan muttered to himself, looking at the gap in the wall.

This was the result of him using enhanced runes. Overall, it was much more powerful than the last time he intimidated a werewolf.

The reason why he chose to use the Thunderbolt Explosion instead of the more concealed Divine Edge Shadowless Curse was because the Divine Edge Shadowless Curse was more focused on single-target attacks. Even with the enhancement, it was not enough to deal with so many people at once.

And he only had one chance at a sneak attack…

Yvonne looked around the room. Gravel and bodies littered the floor. Several of the surviving black-robed wizards were writhing in agony, their scarlet blood staining the grey floor…

"Shattered!" Ivan named them one by one and sent them on their way, ending their suffering.

"Is there someone missing?" Ivan asked, trying to count the bodies lying on the ground. As he was wondering what had happened, a red light flashed from one of the ruins.

Ivan never let his guard down. In an instant, he activated the protective ring on his right hand, and the magical barrier automatically hovered around him, extinguishing the spell.

"Adrian? I can't believe you're still alive…" Ivan turned to see a figure emerging from the ruins.

"Cough, cough, cough…" Adrian clutched his chest in pain and coughed up some blood. He looked at Ivan, who only had his head visible, in disbelief…

He did not expect that the one who had performed such a powerful spell would be a thirteen-year-old young wizard, and that he would fall at the hands of a mere child.

"Where is your mother, Alicia?" Adrian asked, wiping blood from his mouth.

"She doesn't need to do anything to deal with you…" Ivan said casually, and threw a Smashing Charm with his right hand.

"Very good… very good!" Adarian hissed through gritted teeth as he dodged the spell's rays. He had never expected to be treated with such contempt.

"Then she'd better not regret it when I kill you!" Anger licked at Adanne's sanity. The wounds on his body and the blood flowing down his face only served to inflate his spirits.

It is often the injured lone wolf who is the most terrifying…

Adrian's eyes turned red and he waved his wand and a green light flashed in the air…

"Avada Kedavra!"
