Ivan: Can That Be Called Surrender? You're Clearly Coveting My Body!

Or did the bosses have other plans?

Old Rosier mused to himself, feeling increasingly glad that he had managed to hitch a ride on this promising train. Otherwise, he would be the one tied up on the ground awaiting his trial.

"Sir Harls, the Parkinson family is willing to give anything for your forgiveness! Please give us a chance…"

Knowing that the young wizard in front of her had more connections than she thought, Fiona Parkinson gave up on the idea of resisting and tried to throw herself at Ivan's feet, but the two werewolves held her back.

"Parkinson?" Yvonne looked at the stout, middle-aged witch in front of her and wondered where she had heard that name before.

"Who is Pansy Parkinson to you?" Yvonne asked suddenly.

"She's my daughter, Sir Harls!" Fiona Parkinson was visibly excited, and, sensing that Yvonne knew her daughter, she tried to get on her good side. "Do you know her? She's at Slytherin… about to start her fourth year!"

What a coincidence! Ivan raised his eyebrows. He had not expected to catch the mother of a student here.

It made sense, though. There were only so many pure-blood wizards in the wizarding world, and now that he had caught six of them at once, it was normal for him to bump into a few people involved.

Doggett had introduced him to the pure-blood wizards who ran Knockturn Alley, but he had not thought about it at the time.

After all, Pansy Parkinson was not an important figure in the original timeline, and he had little contact with her at Hogwarts.

Ivan then turned his attention to the bound pure-blood wizards. If he remembered correctly, there was also the father of one of his acquaintances.

"Hannah Abbott…" Yvonne began, looking at them.

One of the middle-aged wizards stood up excitedly. "Hannah is my daughter. You know her too? But she was at Hufflepuff and never—"

Abbott almost told her the truth, but then he realised what she was implying and forced himself to change the subject. "No, I mean, she told me about you all the time, that you were the best student Hogwarts ever had… her best friend of the opposite sex!"

Ivan rolled his eyes at this. He and Hannah barely knew each other, had barely met. Where did his best friend come from…?

The only reason he remembered Hannah Abbott was because she was the first to be Sorted, and he was impressed when he saw her name in his previous life.

When she read the book, she did not realize that this little witch was also pure-blood…

Ivan called out two names in quick succession, undoubtedly causing some misunderstanding.

The pure-bloods, who had been debating whether or not to surrender, immediately threw their pride away when they saw that their two companions had changed sides. One by one, they shouted that their niece or daughter was also attending Hogwarts and that they admired the most handsome and talented young wizard in the school.

What is integrity compared to survival and the continuation of a family?

How much could this thing be worth?

More importantly, they had witnessed the strength of the young sorcerer in front of them.

Generally speaking, no matter how hard a thirteen or fourteen-year-old young wizard worked, he would only have seven or eight years to learn magic from the moment his magic erupted. It was impossible for his strength to increase to this extent!

Unless the power was inherited!

As pure-bloods, Nott, Abbott, and the others certainly knew more than half-bloods and Muggles, as many ancient books on magic mentioned — the blood of wizards had power!

Unfortunately, this does not seem to be true of them, as they possess only a few family heirlooms of magic, in addition to the wealth and power they have amassed.

Abbott wondered if this was true. After all, no one was as noble as pure-blood wizards when it came to blood!

This was often the case, however, as the notion of a blood heritage was confirmed by the half-Dumbledore family.

Because Albus Dumbledore, the current Headmaster of Hogwarts, was not the first wizard to have the assistance of a phoenix!

According to some sources, powerful wizards of the Dumbledore family were known to have been able to summon phoenixes, and were known to have been exceptionally gifted in certain magic.

Every pure-blood wizard who knew this was jealous and envious, which was, in a way, more like a pure-blood family.

Ivan's presence there undoubtedly reminded them of the saying, "Perhaps this young wizard is a member of a special family."

This was the reason why Abbott and the others were so eager to market their daughters and nieces.

To put it more bluntly, they coveted Ivan's gift and blood…

In any case, it did not matter if one guessed wrong. A married daughter would change her surname to her husband's, even if the other party was not pure-blood.

Ivan was so taken aback by these passionate pure-blood wizards that he thought he was in a matchmaking programme.

They were clearly fighting to the death just a moment ago, but now they were all trying to introduce their daughters and nieces to him. Was there a mistake?
