First Feeling!

"What are you expecting me to say? You can cry. Just pretend I am not here." Slowly, Raven sighed.

"But you are here. I suppose it would have been better if you hadn't returned."

"Scarlett, there are a few things I know about you. After all, I am a part of you, and I am sensitive to your emotions. You despise your mother and will never be able to love her for reasons I do not understand, but believe me when I say that I appreciate your hatred of her. That, I believe, is why I felt obligated to you. I believe that's the reason I picked you. You will be more powerful than any other werewolf if you maintain that hatred in you."

Scarlett started to chuckle. "You are a bad adviser." Even worse, she kept her friends in the dark about Raven's return. She couldn't tell them. Scarlett didn't want to ruin the fact that Cornelia was beginning to feel at ease around her again.

She whined down the window when she heard a knock on her window screen. "Open the door," Cornelia said.
