The crowds gasped, and the noise resumed. They questioned one another while still in a state of shock.


"What?" October was shocked. "What?" Again, she questioned.


"The council members came to the decision that we ought to include you. You have been on a break ever since you found out you were expecting your first child. We believe you should start working again. Aren't you tired of staying home all the time?"


Her mouth opened as she prepared to speak, but she quickly closed it again. Thinking about the situation. It was so sudden that she didn't even know what to think about. Her eyes matched Phillip's. "I don't…  I'm not sure if I want to return." she said immediately and Once more, there were loud gasps. How could she possibly turn down the council's offer? She thought of her daughters. She just recently disappointed Scarlett. There will be more disappointment if she joins the association again, and she would lose her daughters forever.
