Simon sighed as he stared at the former Luna and Alpha's statue on the fountain. It's been a few days since the mating ceremony. He wondered if Scarlett would ever come back. Not because he misses her but because without her, his plan won't fall through. Ever since his uncle had known who his mate was, he had been visiting for breakfast. Uncle Viggo never visits for breakfast or wastes any time chit-chatting at the mansion but he does this time. Which made Simon uncomfortable. 


He loved it when his uncle hated him but now, he can't even be a few hours apart without him seeing his uncle around. Simon turned when he heard footsteps coming from the woods. He knew that scent. It was his best friend. 


"Did you find her?" He asked, loud enough for Mace to hear. 


Mace approached him and shook his head. He had heard about the accident that happened around midnight on the cursed road. His whole mind went to Simon the moment he heard of the accident.
