Simon’s mission was to keep killing humans in order to draw the hunter's attention so he could exact his revenge on them for killing his parents. He had no intention of falling in love but now that he has gotten himself a Luna by accident, what will he do? Not only has he gotten himself a mate but also someone who shares the same strengths as him. 

Scarlett found out that her father’s death was not an accident but instead was killed by a werewolf. She joined the pack in order to look for the murderer but as she stayed longer, she discovered some secrets. The man she is mated to isn't what he seems.

"Hey. Adolpha. Long time no see." Avery motioned Mia away with her eyes before taking a seat next to Adolpha. 


Adolpha sighed. She was embarrassed because she had been keeping so much from Avery. She called Avery a friend but doesn't even behave like one. She nervously rubbed her hands. "I…" 


"You don't need to say anything." Avery interrupted. She took a deep breath before turning her attention to Adolpha. "I know everything. I have known for a long time." 


"That I am not like you?" Avery nodded. "I'm so sorry. I called you my friend but I keep so many secrets from you." 


Avery smiled. "I know what it's like to keep secrets. We all have reasons for them. Let's just keep this werewolf conversation aside. I am not mad at you. My priority right now is to find Scarlett." 


"I understand, Avery. I am also here to help." She turned her attention back to her nervous palm. "I don't know how I would because I have lost my wolf but I will try my best."
