Scarlett was taken right away to the hospital. Her skin was turning pale, and she was getting weaker. "We'll make sure she's okay, Mrs. O'Hara. Please wait outside." The doctor in charge stopped her as they closed the door behind them. Mia sat with her hands clasped together on the long bench outside. Frightened, uneasy, and worried. What should she do? She wasn't sure if she ought to call Simon and request assistance. But what assistance could Simon provide? All he is is an Alpha. Certainly not a savior who can heal her sister miraculously. 


October joined her, and Mia glanced at her mother. "What do we do now?" 


October took a deep breath. "I don't know, but I have so many questions to ask her once she is awake. In the meantime, I have to speak with Dr. Charlotte. Looks like Scarlett will be in therapy for a long time." 


"But I don't think sending her off for therapy with Dr. Charlotte is the right thing."
