Conveying the Message Part II

"I will take a leave tomorrow. If someone asks, please cover me."

"What? Again?" His coworker was baffled. "Even I never take a consecutive leaves like you. Where are you going?"

Oldman Dunn waved his hand, "You don't need to know. I just had stuff to do. Once it is done, I'll be working as usual. Anyway, can you help me or not?"

"I can," His coworker nods in agreement. "But, this will be the first and the last time I'm helping you with this. If you plan to do this often, you have to find someone else to help. There's a limit on how many logical excuses I can make."

"Don't worry, I won't bother you next time." the old man assured his coworker.

The spy knows his coworker is worried about losing the job. He too, was a considerate man to those who have helped him. Naturally, he tries to avoid inflicting them with the consequences of his actions.
