Buying Stocks

The man observed Xia Wan, who appeared to be a little girl, and a look of disdain crossed his face. "Little girl, you're still in school. What do you know about stocks? The stocks I've bought outnumber the books you've read. Can you possibly comprehend more than I do?"

Xia Wan scrutinized him. He seemed to be around twenty-four or twenty-five years old, dressed in ordinary attire. She retorted mercilessly, "If you were truly adept in the stock market and achieving high returns, you wouldn't be in such a sorry state now. You would have ascended to an elite status in society long ago."

"If I were you, I'd take a risk. Nonetheless, whether you heed this advice is your concern." With that, Xia Wan left.

She had merely offered him a well-intentioned reminder. Whether he accepted it was his choice.

Xia Wan proceeded to a less crowded queue and silently waited in line.
