Be Honest

Linda hadn't been back in the country for long, and she wasn't a student who had gone abroad from this small county town, but a bona fide overseas Chinese.

She came back to this county at Zhou En's invitation, and happened to meet them because Xia Chen needed an English speaking tutor.

In Linda's own words, she had no relatives or friends in this place and only knew Zhou En and Xia's family.

But if she didn't know anyone, how would the principal know about her?

Xia Wan felt puzzled but didn't continue to ask.

After lunch, Linda complained about having to teach in the afternoon and waved goodbye to Xia Wan and Liu Hua.

When Linda and Xia Chen were far away, Liu Hua said, "Linda is from abroad, she's really different from us."

"How is she different?" Xia Wan asked curiously.

"I can't quite say, but I feel she's smarter and more energetic than us!" Liu Hua said admiringly, "I wish I could be as confident and generous as her!"
