It was almost impossible to act all straight with the alpha but I had no choice, as he stood up to get himself some water or whatever it was that he excused himself to get. I saw something I dare not observe, the sunlight shone on his perfectly toned face and for a split second, I imagined myself caressing them and taking those plum pink lips on his in mine and kissing them as if my life depended on it.

I called myself back to order and shook my head in disagreement, I could have sworn my heart did a backflip and I didn't know what it was that amused him but I saw him smile though it was a few seconds. It made me feel the fluttering of a dozen butterflies in the pit of my belly.
