Nolan suddenly burst into laughter, we all looked at each other in shock, it was rare to see him smile, yet here he was laughing, Xavier instinctively moved backwards and didn't dare lift up his head.

"Xavier, did I hear you just say stop to me?" Nolan questioned.

Xavier's mouth twitched, I knew he had instantly regretted his actions, what made him speak was not known to us all, but Nolan was not having any of it, his hatred towards the poor Xavier seemed to increase at that moment.

Soon, other members of the pack began to come in, the meeting grounds was wide enough to accommodate them all, I was relieved seeing that none of my pack members were here to see this.

"My Alpha, my apologies." Xavier spoke up.

"Your apologies? For disobeying me publicly?" Nolan questioned.

I shivered, it was obvious he was trying to pin an unnecessary blame on the poor boy.
