Careful around the new territory.

His Growl that had just shaken the walls echoed in the bathroom. The sheer Force that had just spilled from his lips was unbelievable, and Raziah thought for a fleeting second that something might have happened to him. The earlier vibe she was getting from him had suddenly tripled, and his body language was telling her that he wanted nothing to do with her in the same room.

Raziah knew deep in her soul that she would just leave him here and walk out. She's never thought of him as someone ordinary from the second she met him, and it's been bugging her ever since no matter how much she had shunned the thought of her husband being something else, but how else was she supposed to explain what was happening now?

She hadn't seen anything yet, but he wasn't letting her see his face. With a small shiver, her hand slipped down from his back and fell by her side. It seemed for a split second that she had Given up on him as her head was hung low, and she walked past him to leave the bathroom, when all of a sudden she whirled around and faced him.

Her sudden actions had surprised Aragon, and that made him more aware of how curious Raziah was. Their eyes heatedly locked again, and Raziah didn't give him time to breathe and palmed his face. Tonight, she was much braver around him and hadn't thought twice about touching his face without his permission, which had his eyes widening a bit.

"If you're feeling hot, I can cool you down." She whispered softly, cupping his cheeks.

But whatever had been surging inside him wasn't regressing at all, "Don't touch me," he rumbled again.

Yet, he didn't take his hands away by himself.

"Do you feel sick? Should I..." Raziah's tender-looking eyes dissipated the next second as her words died off abruptly. Her eyes took a cold edge, and she instantly dropped her hands from his face. She had almost forgotten she was mad at him in the first place, only for the tables to be turned just because the man's aura intensified so fast.

Seeing the cold look in her eyes returned, Aragon said plainly, "Leave, Raziah,"

"Of course, your Majesty." She gritted through clenched teeth and stepped away without a backward glance. Raziah maintained her composure on the outside, but she was raging war on the inside. How could he have Introduced her as his guest? And all this while she hadn't processed the true meaning of the word! If the crybaby hadn't informed her, she still would have been oblivious to it.

She was more angry at herself! God, of all the Princes she had danced with the other night, what on Earth made her choose this particular one? Why didn't she just go with the Normal looking guys? Why couldn't she at least pretend she was having a good conversation with all of them and broadened her perspective? Olive should have been the last man on earth she should have chosen. Was she blind that unfaithful night?

Still in anger, she changed into a dress and left the room. The second her small feet touched the floor right outside her chamber, she stiffened like a rock. It wasn't like before when she didn't know that she had been walking about Erandell carrying the title as his Majesty's whore, and even through the obliviousness, she had managed to make Uariel her friend, and even the sorceress's chef too.

This was Sabaean Palace.

This was another territory. She can't just walk around.

It's extremely shameful to Carry the title of the king's guest here, where she can easily be looked down upon, bullied, and even worse - touched. Why did his Majesty even bring her along in the first place? Her feet won't move because of shame, and she had already told his Majesty that she won't ask any more questions.

She should have thought it through.

"My Lady,"

Raziah's attention was snatched by Maria, approaching her. Once again, she was so glad this crybaby soul was alive, and that she knew her more than anyone else around.

"Maria,"

"Good morning, Where are you headed to?" Maria asked.

More like she was beaming.

"Nowhere. I was just about to return," Raziah replied.

"Oh, I see. But if you're not too busy, I can show you around the palace."

Raziah was definitely not good with that idea. Until she finds a way to settle this 'guest' stuff, she wouldn't keep throwing away her dignity by roaming around the castle like a shameless woman calling for trouble, "I'm fine, Maria. I'll stay indoors for the meantime,"

"That's no fun, and you know it My Prin...my Lady," she quickly corrected herself, "Just a small walk around the palace, okay?"

Raziah allowed herself to be swayed, and Maria escorted her around the palace. They hadn't even moved a good distance away from her chambers when Raziah paused in her steps again. She could feel the kitchen knife in her dress, and she thought of it as a bad idea. If anyone tries to make light of her, and she loses her composure, she's definitely gonna strike without hesitation.

But instead of telling Maria that she wasn't interested in going around the place anymore, she tried another tactic, "Don't you feel ashamed, crybaby?"

"What do you mean?"

"Everyone will see us together. It might start up some gossip, I don't want my title here to stain you in any way,"

"My Prin..." Maria caught her lips, "My lady, I'm the only one who knows who you truly are. I don't care what people might come to think about us, and it's not like we are breaking any rule by walking around the palace. We are both staying here after all," Maria was whispering again.

"Why do we have to whisper? You said something about the walls having ears last night," Raziah whispered back. She wanted more explanation on that part of the conversation.

Maria moved closer, and murmured, "The Royals here, and some maids, and even guards... they're weird. Sometimes it feels as if they're not human, and that scares many of us. It's happened a few times now, where one of these scary people had somehow overheard something that was related over Thirty feet away, and even more. It's like they have super hearing senses or something!"

"Is that even possible?" Raziah inquired, thinking hard about it

"That's what I've been asking myself too!" Maria exclaimed.

"No matter then, we just have to be careful." Raziah sighed inwardly. There goes her chance at trying to change Maria's mind about not escorting her anymore. But what was she expecting by the way? Maria and savannah have always been the best maids ever, sincere, fun, and loving. It truly brought her heart peace, and Raziah was just about to hug the crybaby and thank her again when footsteps approached them.

They both turned to see Princess Gwenore moving forth close. She wasn't dressed elegantly like yesterday, instead today she had this suit-like dress on. It wasn't exactly tight, and it wasn't one meant for any kind of occasion. A green top with a belt below her chest, and women's trousers. She had her long hair tied behind her head into a ponytail, and she was holding a bow, with arrows hooked in its pocket to her back.

"My Princess," Maria bowed first, and Raziah knew she had no other choice but to follow.

Gwenore ignored them like they were ants on her way. It wasn't surprising at first because that was how most royals behave because of their pride and position, but Gwenore was a little different. Even though she was arrogant, she most times answered the greeting of the palace servants but she looked so engrossed in herself right now. Her eyes were so focused on where she was headed, reminding Raziah of who the woman was again.

More mature than she looked.

"That's Princess Gwenore, the King's first daughter."

Raziah was stricken. Wait, hold on. How can a young-looking man like the King have a grown-up daughter like Gwenore? If he has a daughter of this age, why the hell do the both of them look so damn young? Last night, she thought they were all the king's siblings because she wasn't paying much attention to them.

"There's a competition that's been going on lately," Maria continued, "It's called the Royal selection, which happens once in two years. Princes and Princesses gather from different kingdoms to compete in different sports. There would be a male and female winner at the end, and the sport lasts for five straight days. Today is the third day, and the sport is Archery,"

That explains why His Majesty visited Sabaean. He was here to watch the sports.

"How many kingdoms are participating this year?"

"Thirty,"

"That's a lot!"

"Only sixteen made it till today. It's starting by noon this afternoon. The princess must be heading to practice, she looks so determined today,"

"Is she strong?" Raziah asked.

"Yes,"

"Aren't you...His Majesty from Erandell's...Guest?" A feminine voice questioned behind them, and they both turned around to see Gwenore standing there. She was looking straight at Raziah, "I'm in a hurry right now, so can you come with me?"
