A little out of it.

With his body warmth surrounding her, all she could think of was his earlier words. Her mind kept telling her that the man could detect something wrong with her, and she couldn't think of a reason why so. He said her eyes were colder - and that was a valid reason but still...

That alone couldn't have given it all away, right?

From all her speculation regarding this man and all the thought she's given into everything - if she could find a way to end the marriage and leave him for good, then she would not hesitate to do so. But that would be almost impossible in this Era she lived in, and not to mention that he's a prince of Erandell - one of the most powerful kingdoms around. She would just have to look for a way herself.

When she felt his hands trailing up toward her hair, she moved out of the hug before his fingers would disentangle her hair and reveal what she was hiding. She wisely avoided eye contact with him, casually turning around when she heard footsteps approaching them.

It was a little rattling for her to see that the two women sent to retrieve the antidote and the medicine man were already back. It didn't even take up to five minutes, or was it that the doctor lived close by?

Gwenore bowed, and handed the bottle to his Majesty, "The doctor would be here in a minute." She informed him, her jaw working as her eyes shifted to Raziah who was already staring into space. Her whole arm had already turned dark purplish, and the poison was already climbing up her neck and fast. Yet, there wasn't even a squeal of pain from her.

Immediately, Aragon opened the bottle. The strong choking scent clogged the air, confirming that it really was the antidote that she needed. His Majesty then handed it to Raziah, saying, "Drink everything, now,"

It was down her throat the very next second, and the small bottle was empty. It was extremely bitter and stung the throat as it went down. A moment later, Raziah's eyes began to turn a little, and her surrounding was getting blurry. Everywhere was spinning, and there was a weird feeling coming from her stomach. Her arm was throbbing very badly, and it was like the pain from the poison she had been ignoring had made its way to the very front of her mind.

When she opened her mouth to speak, her body was already being swept off her feet ever so effortlessly, and her husband was in front of her chambers in a jiffy. He threw the doors open, stalked inside, and helped her numb body onto the bed. Climbing next to her, he sat her up so her head was resting against his shoulders.

His wife wasn't making a sound, despite knowing that her eyes were open and the pain was clearly written in her red globes. The antidote should make her fall asleep anytime soon, but instead...

"I...need to end this marriage," She drunkenly blurted out, unaware of what she was saying. Aragon stilled, but didn't say anything. She kept fluttering her eyes, the sleeping coming in steadily, "You...I shouldn't have chosen you, your Majesty." She slurred again, taking a deep breath as her lashes lowered softly, flapping as they went till she could only see a line of light.

"I can't..." she slurred again, trying to keep herself awake but it just wasn't working. The slumber finally overtook her completely, and she slept off.

A minute didn't pass before the doctor arrived, and together with him was Fabiana. Kano, the doctor was Fabia's assistant, but Fabia had asked him to act as the main doctor between them because after what happened to The kingdom of Kaneria, she would do anything to keep her true identity a secret - and that would be her not staying at the front lines.

Fabia was surprised to see that it was Raziah that needed attention, and since Kano was also a good doctor, all she had to do was assist him as they cleaned up the infected palm, and wrapped it up. It was the first time Fabia was seeing Aragon Odysseus up close, and his presence was like nothing she's known before.

At first glance, he looked like a Normal man with Royal blood rushing through his core, but the longer you stay in the same room as him, it feels as if he's slowly suffocating you. Kano was slowly trembling as he explained Raziah's situation to his Majesty, assuring him that she would be fine.

His eyes stared as if they could crush even through your soul, and his demeanor was terrifying at the moment.

"She was behaving a little out of it before she fell asleep. Was that supposed to happen?" Aragon's gravelly tone enquired.

"Out of it?" Kano blinked, thinking of the circumstance that could put something in that state. This was one of the main reasons why he had hesitated to accept Fabia's request years ago about this, because there were some things he didn't know about, and Fabia wouldn't let him touch her book of cures and medicines.

"Was she behaving like she was drunk?" Fabia answered instead, moving her eyes back to the Princess.

Aragon eyed the two doctors suspiciously, "Yes, exactly."

"It happens to a few people. From the looks of it," Fabia motioned at the purple arm of the princess that was slowly taking back its natural color again, "The poison stayed long in her system, and because she was in serious pain the antidote must have triggered her system, trying to replace the pain with something else - hence making her feel drunk. It's a miracle in itself that she's still alive and doing very well,"

"You work here," Aragon stated, his calculating eyes dimming just a little.

Fabia's suddenly felt the intimidating air coming from him. What the hell? Was she supposed to nod? It wasn't a question! Or was it that he knows something about her encounter with Raziah? Considering who his Majesty of Erandell really is, she shouldn't be surprised at all.

"Both of you May leave,"

They bowed in respect again, picked up their things, and left the vicinity. Maria was already waiting at Fabia's place when the doctor returned, and Fabia's mind was still pounding. As soon as she saw Maria, she gripped her shoulders hard and began shaking her up violently, "Why didn't you tell me his Majesty is that intense? I felt like I was burning up! Why didn't you tell me?!"

"I'm gonna puke if you keep this up," Maria uttered, her belly churning.

Letting her go, Fabia breathed hard, "How is such a man related to Raziah?"

"He brought her with him. They're..." Maria's throat itched a little, "Kind of close. Something like that,"

"You aren't telling me the Truth," Fabia frowned.

"I'm serious!"

"Yes, yes you are," Fabiana rolled her eyes, sarcasm dripping from her every word, "Even a nine-year-old lies better than you." Fabia's eyes widened, "And speaking of kids, where is Caius?!"

"That idiot!!" Maria and Fabiana exclaimed in unison, and just then a door opened to the right, revealing a boy with scattered dirty blonde walking out. He was only putting on trousers, rubbing his sleepy eyes with a yawn.

"I heard that," he groaned sluggishly, "Aunt Ana, where have you been? Why are you back so early? Where is my breakfast? Or is it lunch?" He gazed at the sun streaming in.

"Are you just waking up?!" Fabia marched towards him in anger, but he was quick to back away from her with a boyish grin.

"Aunt Ana, don't come at me like that. You look like you want to strangle a bear. I'm only but a kid," He cooed innocently, pouting.

"Yeah? A nine-year-old who is too grown up for his own good!"

"Point of correction, I'm close to ten and I'm the man of the house," if he could grin harder, he would have.

"Oh, shut it!" Fabia scorned.

"Have you taken your drugs? You just woke up, meaning you haven't." Maria spoke this time.

"Oh, that's true. That's why I've been asking for my food. I need it to take the drugs, or else aunt Ana would cry again if I start my episodes," He smiled mischievously, and Fabia lurched towards him.

This time she would most surely strangle the annoying idiot to death, but he scurried away.

"It's in the kitchen!" Maria yelled after him.

As soon as he was out of sight, a tranquil and affectionate smile broke out on Fabia's face, and she quickly wiped away her tears before Maria would see her, and become the crying champion between the both of them.

"I have to start heading back right now," Maria said. Fabia had already given her a change of clothes, and she has washed up the blood. Her shoulder felt a little weak, but it ought to be gone in a few hours.

Raziah...had shocked them all. No one knew she had inherited it, and the more Maria thought about the possibility that what Fabia had blurted out could be true, the more impossible she found it to be.

And the stupefied look that Maria had seen on her princess's face the second she woke up, it wouldn't be surprising if Raziah later confessed that it was the first time that ability had awakened within her.
