Beau's car drove away.
Eliza stood there with a red face and watched. It wasn't until the figure of the car had completely disappeared that Roseane bumped into her.
"Come back to your senses."
"If you're really so reluctant, why don't you go home with Beau?"
Roseane teased her. Eliza came back to her senses and managed her expression properly in a second.
"Stop fooling around. Wait for Matthew to pick you up next time. See how I'll make fun of you."
Following Eliza's words, Roseane imagined the scene. Her face was also a little flushed, but her eyes were filled with anticipation.
"His legs haven't recovered yet. I don't think he'll be able to come."
Eliza smiled and shook her head. She wanted to chat with Roseane for a little longer, but an ear-piercing voice came from beside her.
"Some people really take themselves too seriously."
