The first and primary task of every father is protection.

Protecting the daughter (especially) is the goal of all parents.

But have you ever wondered if this is really what the daughter desires?

Well, my relative Nour did not want that.. She did not care about everything her father bought her or his excessive protection... All she wanted was to spend some time with her father, even if it was a few minutes.

This was just the innocent wish of a seven-year-old girl.

Noor's mother had a kind heart, but she left to tell her daughter that good people don't last.

She died when she was born, her only family was her father who was her role model and someone she wanted to become like him.

But the father, who has no experience in caring for children and who spent his life stopping criminals, did not realize the feelings of his young daughter.

Because of all these contradictory ideas a bad relationship arose between them and a terrible misunderstanding which started because of a picture that Nour drew where she painted herself with her dog and a police badge.

That seven-year-old could not remember her father's face, who was always absent, so she drew her father's police badge.

The father was sad because he thought that his daughter hate him and the girl almost lost hope that her father would love her and thought that he blamed her for her mother's death, and thus they "almost" separated.But that daughter restrained herself and kept trying to make her father proud.

Every night she waits for her father's light, and when he comes home tired and sleeps on the sofa, she covers him.

When he wakes up, he finds food on the table, even though it's burnt, and he certainly never thought that a child would do it, so he guessed that his mother who lived with them cooked it.

And every time the exam date approaches, she studies more than she can to make her father proud.

I don't remember there was a day when Noor said the word "no" to her father.

I don't have to teach her the meaning of (honoring one's parents) because she is the person who knows what it means best.

The ability to be patient is a feature that Nour possesses more than others, as she was patient with her father's absence throughout those years.

That is why everyone should know that the father and mother are a blessing that those who lost them wish for, so be thankful for their presence with you.
