Chapter 6: Preparation

Allen was able to see the mana cloud inside his mana space (a place where the absorbed mana is stored) is sucked automatically, condensed, purified and stored in the storage cylinders.

It took 8 hours for the grade-7 mana engine to suck the mana from his mana space. Then it will condense and purify the mana. Once that is done, Allen has to initiate the purification of the mana to have it purified again and again.

Since it is the first time to see the mana being purified, Allen did not do anything to stress himself. he also asked Serina to not disturb him since she is always playful.

Serina doesn't have to purify mana since she is a monster. Her mana is already pure because of her mana core. She will be at her maximum power after every level up, unlike Allen who has to purify his mana.

It took a full day for the mana engine to complete the purification. Allen was stunned to see that his mana is only 17% pure. Usually, the mana will be at least 20% pure when it is purified for the 1st time as per the researchers.

17% purification indicates that his talent is low and he will have a tough time evolving. After the integration, he will be able to evolve along with his pet. He is currently in the Private Low-level stage just like others who graduated.

He needs to work hard to increase the purity of mana so he can level up faster and get more power after every level-up.

The power he gains during level-up will be determined by the purity of his mana. He also needs to learn how to control the ability he got from Serina to increase his power.

Allen still has 6 days for the military to come and bring him to serve his 4 years of compulsory service. He decided to check and improve his talent with fire since Serina is a fire elemental pet.

When he got down from his bed he was able to see the difference in his strength. He also felt light due to Serina's agility. He looked at his palm and concentrated his mana to his palm to create fire, but was only able to create a spark.

He was not upset because of this. He planned to continue his training in controlling the mana to create fire and achieve it. He started training on it.

He will be able to use his ability to learn new skills at the corporal level to increase his power. He was able to gain a bit of control over his ability by the day he was supposed to leave for the military.

Allen started preparing to leave the orphanage for the military camp. He kept a few of his clothes and packed everything in his bag. He had nothing else with him.

One week crossed soon and Allen was able to create fire and condense it to form a ball. He also practised throwing the fireball, but it doesn't cause any damage.

A military truck came and stopped in front of the school entrance.
