Pharai Alya had given up everything to follow his dream of one day living in Egypt. As the leader of a new discovery in the Valley of the Kings that may as well change history as we know it, he finds out that Egyptology was not as much of a dead religion as he thought.  

A mysterious and dangerous love interest conveys whatever he is about to discover will change his life forever. What will he do when he discovers that gods may possibly roam on Earth with humans and what will he do when he finds out that they are closer to him than he thought?

"Pharai," I quickly corrected Muhammad. 


"Yes, um Pharai," he shyly smiled, "I just wanted to ask how you found your years studying for a PhD?" 


"Well," I hummed, "I wouldn't say it was extremely hard. I'm fortunate enough to have parents who are historians therefore I always grew up around history. If there was anything I ever needed they were quick to help."


His eyebrows rose in surprise, "That's amazing! Are they still working?"


I nodded, "They're in the middle of an expedition with an archaeologist out in Siberia right now."


My parents had hugely influenced my career path. We spent most of our time in New York City where I grew up but there were months we would have to relocate for a month or two when they were needed for work. Unlike me they worked for a private company that needed them to tag along to record and make sense of all findings.
