It was hard to even move in the water as Suetekh sat on the other end of the large bath. I took advantage of the fact it was the size of a pool and hoped the distance would help lessen Suetekh's wondering eyes.

We were still close enough that it did not feel like my heart would be ripped out of my chest but also too close that I feared with those golden eyes he would be able see through the water perfectly. Gods truly had no shame whether it was Hathor picking me up, Horus throwing a tantrum about me not being a girl or Suetekh who had no sense whatsoever, I knew I was in for a roller coaster.

"How long are we going to stay here?" I submerged from the water and brushed my hair behind my shoulders so that it was not dripping onto my face.
