Of a Woman

Pharai

Suetekh's anger was unlike anything I had ever seen. Steam practically rose from his skin as his body violently shook. His eyes were the darkest I had ever seen and his body already started to morph to form the thick black armour with the red skin underneath.

He kept the Set's animal head at bay for my sake probably knowing the effect it had on me earlier during the day. The orange sky outside had darkened not to a black but to a blood red that completely blocked the sun. His war with Horus earlier today had not even gotten that reaction out of him.

The building shook with his every breath and for once I saw slight fear in Horus's and Hathor's eyes. They had somehow managed to push Suetekh over the edge and just like the legendary scriptures I had read about him, I wondered if his unpredictability would come into play.
