Anubis' eyes had not torn themselves away from Pharai ever since we had sat down. He had some nerve to feast on his appearance in my presence! He marveled at him, probably undressing him with his mind. It was hard to ignore the pheromones coming off him. He was starving, not for the kind of meal I would have preferred.

In a display of dominance I placed my hand on my mate's thigh letting my fingers grip his inner thigh. Pharai's eyes milked me in as they went from molten gold to a deep black. I wondered if he knew that when he lusted his iris elongated to that of a snake. He looked sinister and even though it panicked me it deeply aroused me.

Like a moth to a flame he leaned into me and a roar of pride burst in my chest as I grinned.

Horus who was watching the entire power play between myself and his half brother shook his head and let out a sigh.
