Blob had spun around aimlessly in his chair, awaiting his acceptance letter. The girl wasn't kidding, she hadn't sent an email in a few days. It was kind of boring for the days she hadn't but that was practically it, a loud ping came from his computer and just as he expected, It was an email telling him he was accepted. He spun again, a small smirk appearing on his face as he did. His spinning was interrupted by a sudden knock on the door. That was odd...It was a Saturday so nobody was working there at the moment. He got up and opened the door, his eyes slowly moving upward as he laid his eyes on a towering maiden that had somehow appeared in front of him. She could've been at least 6'10, three inches taller than him, she had a facial tracking mask so expressions wouldn't be a problem. She took a deep breath before speaking
"Uhm...You're Blob...the author of Don't Touch The Roses...Correct?" She had brought a hardcover of the book, looking to the side, there was an X where the eyes of the mask would be. "I-I'm Aki! Remember? Uh, I wanted to drop by..and say hello...I'm uh." She stepped back, she was nervous seeing her favorite author in person. And the lack of communication made it no better.
"Oh, you are?" He spoke, causing her to stop in her tracks. He extended his hand to shake hers before giving a bright smile. From her point of view, it lit up the room, the gentle curl of his lips, the small dimples and the glow of his rose-colored eyes made her freeze up. "It's a pleasure to meet you".
She couldn't handle the embarrassment and ended up folding on her words, as she tried to say "you too" but ended up saying something else entirely through her being flustered. "ahh..uhm..uh youb Too!" She blurted out, the mask's eyes darting everywhere. "W-well i'll get going now! Bye Bye!" she nearly tripped while walking out.
