Chapter 5

Now that she's gone, I start to brainstorm what my whole game plan going to be heading into the school year. I stop pretty early to go to bed so I can have a calm walk to school without any people.

I wake up and yawn, I then change my clothes and start my trek to school a good 30 minutes before everyone else would normally. I sit on my seat and start playing on my phone until other people show up. Unsurprisingly, the next soul to pass through the doors is our very own Class VP Ichinose.

"Hmm? I didn't expect you to be here before me." she said with her head tilted

"Well I figured you'd be early like yesterday and I need to talk to you" I added

"Whatever would you want to talk to me about?" she asks

"It's nothing special, just the one-on-one meetings I mentioned I figured this would be a good time" I said, she nodded

"Do you have any subjects that you feel you struggle with?" I asked

"Hmm. I don't have much trouble with academics but i would have to say that Math is probably my weakest subject if not then English" she answered

"Hey, I feel what you need is some inspirational words, look into my eyes" I get closer to her and start to whisper, she blushes

"Believe in yourself, okay sometimes you make mistakes and that's okay forgive yourself and move on." As soon as I finish talking her eyes lose focus and I give her her command

"You will find it easier to understand concepts especially when it comes to Math and English, you will attribute this to the motivational words I gave you" I say hurriedly

"Ichinose, snap out of it" she jerks back into consciousness

"Oh sorry I must've dozed off what were you saying" she says

"Don't worry I like to call that some intropection, anyway think that's our one-on-one over" I say. She looks a little displeased that it was this short but at the same time can't fault me for anything.

After class ends, I sprint over to Class D. I catch Class D's teacher Chabashira Sae exiting.

"Excuse me! Chabashira-sensei can I talk with you?" I ask to her back, she looks over her shoulder to meet my eyes.

"Ah Masahiko-Kun, why not talk with your own homeroom teacher?" She asks coldly

"She can be troublesome plus I want to build relations with Class D" I see the Idiot trio leave the class and finish up the conversation with Chabashira

"Would you please wait a sec though I have some business with your students" she sighs.

I stealthily enter the class, and only 1 pair of eyes darts in my direction. I meet them to find none other than Ayanokoji Kiyotaka. He looks away knowing he's been noticed. I look over the class as a whole and notice the two main figureheads being Kei and Hirata Yousuke.

"Excuse me." the class that was in conversation is now focused on me.

"You what is your name" I point to Hirata

"It's Hirata Yousuke" she replies while pointing at himself

"Can I talk to you and Kei please?" I ask him and look at Kei, afterwards they both look at each other then back at me and nod. They start moving in my direction and everyone resumes talking, though it's not as alive as before.

"Guys, how does it sound to have an alliance between our classes?" I ask quietly and seriously

"Why would we need an alliance between classes?" Hirata asked.

"Because this school isn't how it seems. Probably on the first of May, when we get our point they will reveal that this schools is a meritocracy."

Both Kei and Hirata looked shocked at my statement

"Get the classes act together during class because my theory is that the next points we are gonna get are going to be based of our behaviour in class" I say with an unfaltering tone.

Both Kei and Hirata are processing what I said but I still continue on

"I don't need a response on the alliance now but keep this talk in mind, until next time" I say while leaving

I meat back up with Chabashira who was waiting for me and we decided to go to the roof for some privacy.

"So, what do you want to ask me Masahiko-kun?" She asks

"Ok let's get straight into it, for the midterm exam how many points would it take to change one classes exam questions" I ask coldly

"Hmm… let's say 5m but the questions have to be approved by the school"

"Okay. Thanks for your time" I says while heading back to my dorm

[Kushida prioritize information on class A students and their academic strengths and weaknesses, and avoid drawing unwanted attention to yourself]

[Yes My Lord! *smile emoji*]

A couple days pass and it's time for my first group study session with Ichinose and Chiro-chan.

It was not very eventful, Ichinose did seem thankful about the one on one that we had, and Chiro-chan got jealous that she hasn't had one yet. But that was really he only thing that happened.

The next week was Class B's swimming class.
