Chapter 48

Jennet stopped moving to try changing her sitting posture when a familiar voice came from her side. A gust of wind greeted her skin when somebody took the seat beside her.

“Marvina, this is our seat.” The man said to his girlfriend.

On a reflex, Jennet raised the drink, hiding her face. Then, she glanced at the couple, who sat a seat away from her. Her eyes grew wider when she saw Marvina, her colleague.

Her eyes were not wrong. Marvina was only a seat away from her!

‘Crap, this is bad,’ she thought and perspired in her seat. Throughout the movie, she sat still with one hand holding the drink to cover her face, unmoving, just like a statue. As soon as the movie ended, she whispered to Hue, “Let’s go home now.” Then, dragged him out at full force.

“But, I’m hungry.” Hue groaned. “Let’s try something from that bakery,” he pointed to a bakery shop on the opposite side of the cinema.
