“Mfftt!” Hue struggled to speak. Little Veen snapped his fingers and the barrier on his mouth disappeared.
“Probably because you’re already my wife from a very long time ago. The barrier around you exists to protect you when I am not around,” he said as a proud smile bloomed on his handsome face.
Little Veen snapped his fingers again and Hue was forced to keep silent instantly. He took a deep breath and said to Jennet, “He is not making any sense at the moment. Ignore him. By the way, I hope you can keep calm and act oblivious about everything that we talked about.”
“Alright, but should I be worried?” Jennet asked curiously.
“No need to. You only need to worry about your pregnancy because they are much more important than the problem we have at hand. Also, we will always be looking after you, and protecting you.” Little Veen smiled.
